Rouge vs Helio Cure: Which Red Light Therapy Brand Wins in 2026?
Medical review: Articles on Red Light Therapy Top 10 are reviewed for scientific accuracy by our medical expert team. Wellness information, not a diagnosis or treatment plan. Sessions may help a general wellness routine. Home panels here are FDA-registered, not cleared.
Rouge Care and Helio Cure both print a deep near-infrared band above 1000 nm, both ship a 60-day no-restock trial on the lights, and both list a three-year warranty on the body panels. They are not the same shop. Rouge is a Canadian G4 line in a live 25 percent Labor Day cut: eight named bands including 1060 nm, dual-disclose six-inch figures, and 71.65-inch Max and Ultimate height. Helio Cure publishes about 19.44 percent at 1064 nm on Spark, Glow, and Nova, a 19-degree beam on those three, and a stand already inside the live SKU. Dual trophy from these two catalogs only. A third brand is not crowned here.
Winner summary · 8-band 71-inch Labor Day G4 vs 19.44% at 1064 nm
Dual winner: Rouge Care and Helio Cure
Rouge Care sells Nano through Ultimate, with stands extra on Pro, Max, and Ultimate. Helio Cure sells Spark through Nova and already prices the mount into Glow, Blaze, and Nova. Both print a band near 1060 to 1064 nm. Both use 5W packages. Both ask the buyer to pay return freight on a 60-day window. The split is density versus named-band count, 71-inch height versus 64 to 65-inch height, Labor Day stickers versus stand-in-SKU, and which spectrometer trail is published.
This review compares spectrum share, irradiance method, chips, beam, coverage, modes, box contents, public Trustpilot, trial language, FDA wording, and live manufacturer prices pulled 1 September 2026. Sessions with either mix may help a general wellness routine.
At-a-glance verdict: Dual trophy. Helio Cure is the better published-1064 and 19-degree catalog. Rouge Care is the better 71-inch Labor Day G4 catalog. A third name is not the overall winner here.

Lineup: five Rouge sizes versus Spark, Glow, Blaze, Nova
Rouge sells five home panels on the 1 September 2026 JSON, plus beds and a mask that this page does not rank. Helio sells four panels. A Nano is not a Spark. A Max is not a Blaze. An Ultimate is not a Nova.
Rouge is in a live Labor Day sale at 25 percent off. Helio Spark through Nova also show compare-at sale tags the same day. No Rouge coupon and no Helio coupon is invented. TOP10 6% is RLT Home only and waits for the funnel.

Matched pairs are not size clones. Spark and Tabletop G4 are both 72-LED desk panels of different shapes. Glow at 29.9 inches is shorter than Pro G4 at 36.22 inches. Blaze at 64.3 inches is shorter than Max G4 at 71.65 inches. Nova at 65 x 20.5 inches is shorter and slightly narrower than Ultimate G4 at 71.65 x 22.83 inches. Helio has no Nano. This pairing does not invent a 49-inch middle rung.
Spectrum and wavelength density
Density beats a named-band count. Eight G4 names can still send only about 12.5 percent into 1060 nm. Six Helio names can still send about 19.44 percent into 1064 nm. This page ranks share, not list length.
Rouge Care G4
Eight named bands, even ~12.5% split
Every G4 panel lists 630, 650, 660, 670, 810, 830, 850, and 1060 nm. Four of those eight names sit in the red band. Dual-chip construction forces an even split: about 12.5 percent per named band. That is a construction artifact, not a clinical ratio. About 50 percent of G4 output sits in surface reds, and 1060 nm receives the same 12.5 percent slice as 650 nm. The extra 650 and 670 names are real. They are still red surface bands. Nano is 660 and 850 nm only, with no 1060 nm.
Helio Cure
Six named bands, 19.44% at 1064 nm on purpose
Spark, Glow, and Nova print 19.44 percent at 630, 660, 810, and 1064 nm, 13.88 percent at 830 nm, and the remainder at 850 nm (about 8.3 percent). Combined 810 plus 1064 is about 38.9 percent on those three SKUs. Blaze is a different map: 20 percent at 630, 660, and 810 nm, 16.67 percent at 1064 nm, 13.33 percent at 830 nm, and about 10 percent at 850 nm. Helio does not ship 480 nm blue, 650 nm, or 670 nm. That is a design choice, not a hidden defect.
1060 nm and 1064 nm sit in the same deep near-infrared window. This page does not treat a 4 nm gap as a clinical cliff. The meaningful gap is share: about 19.44 percent at 1064 nm on Spark, Glow, and Nova versus about 12.5 percent at 1060 nm on G4. Deep-band buyers are shopping Helio’s table. Eight-name G4 buyers are shopping Rouge.
Power and Irradiance: Measured by Independent Third Parties
Solar power meters read high on LEDs and are not comparable to a spectrometer. Peak is compared with peak. Average is compared with average. Distance travels with every figure. This page never mixes Rouge solar 164 mW/cm² with Helio LightLab 98.87 mW/cm².
Rouge dual-disclose at six inches. G4 pages publish a solar-meter figure and a spectrometer figure at six inches, plus an integrating-sphere lab report. Spectrometer figures used here: Tabletop G4 79, Pro G4 90, Max G4 81, Ultimate G4 85 mW/cm². The solar companion is 164 mW/cm². Keep 164 in the solar column. Light Therapy Insiders measured a Pro G4 at peak 65 and average 59.2 mW/cm². That LTI trail is affiliated. It still sits below the brand Pro peak of 90. Nano lists greater than 100 mW/cm² at 8 cm (about 3.1 inches) with no six-inch figure.
Helio LightLab on Glow. LightLab International tested Glow. Helio reports 98.87 mW/cm² at 6 inches, 93.25 at 12, 81.89 at 24, and 61.59 at 36. A LightLab average of 71.7 mW/cm² is kept separate from the peak. Spark, Blaze, and Nova inherit Glow. A brand figure of 69 mW/cm² at 12 inches is a different number. Do not convert it to six inches. At-source “over 300 mW/cm²” is not a ranking number at six inches.
Peak-to-peak at six inches: Helio Glow LightLab 98.87 versus Rouge Pro brand spectrometer 90 versus Rouge Pro LTI 65. Different labs, different chassis. Glow LightLab is the highest independent six-inch peak here. Rouge dual-discloses spectrometer figures on four G4 sizes at the same distance. No solar-meter 164 is used as a spectrometer stand-in.
LED chips: dual-chip is a fact, not a smear
Every Rouge G4 panel uses dual-chip 5W packages. Two dies share the envelope, which is why the even ~12.5 percent split exists. Dual-chip’s honest advantage is even surface distribution. Dual-chip’s honest cost is split package power, which is why a brand cannot easily print 19.44 percent at 1064 nm from that construction. This page does not treat dual-chip as a defect.
Helio Spark, Glow, and Nova use 3535 single-chip 5W LEDs, one die per package, which is how 19.44 percent at 1064 nm is physically possible. Helio Blaze’s live listing says 3535 Single/Dual Chip. That is a catalog fact on one SKU, not a smear of Spark, Glow, or Nova.
Buyers who want every lens to emit a mixed pair can prefer G4 dual-chip. Buyers who want a printed 19.44 percent 1064 row can prefer Spark, Glow, or Nova. Blaze does not inherit that sentence automatically.
Beam angle
A narrower beam holds intensity farther on axis. A wider beam covers torso edges more easily. Helio specifies 19 degrees on Spark, Glow, and Nova. LightLab measured the Glow beam at 16.9 degrees. Both numbers are published. That tighter beam is one reason Helio can print 81.89 mW/cm² at 24 inches and 61.59 at 36 inches on Glow. Blaze is different: 15 / 30 / 60 degrees, not 19.
Rouge G4 body panels publish 30 degrees. That is a wider default and a real edge-coverage argument on an 11.81-inch Pro or Max. Buyers who want a printed narrow beam are shopping Spark, Glow, or Nova. Buyers who want a 30-degree 71.65-inch column are shopping Max or Ultimate.
Coverage, height, and what a full-body panel actually is
Rouge Max G4 and Ultimate G4 are 71.65 inches tall, the tallest single chassis here. Helio Blaze is 64.3 inches. Helio Nova is 65 inches. A standing-height buyer without a step-up stool is shopping the G4 71-inch pair. A buyer who will take 64 to 65 inches for an electric stand already in the SKU is shopping Blaze or Nova.
Ultimate G4 is 22.83 inches wide. Nova is 20.5 inches. Max G4 and Blaze are both about 11.8 inches wide, so those two are still narrow columns. LED count is not density and not height: Ultimate 1,152 dual-chip versus Nova 864; Max 576 versus Blaze 480. Ultimate is still the larger rectangle.
Pro G4 is 36.22 inches with 288 dual-chip LEDs. Glow is 29.9 inches with 216 single-chip LEDs and the floor stand already in the $1,049 SKU. Tabletop versus Spark is a desk fight. Nano is a handheld with no Helio twin.
Modes, apps, and privacy
Live Rouge G4 copy lists app integration, remote access, and seven preset protocols on Tabletop, Pro, Max, and Ultimate. Red and NIR groups can run together or independently. Nano is a simpler 660/850 handheld without that G4 interface.
Helio is on-device: five named presets (Face/Skin, Pain Relief, Weight Management, Hair Restoration, Brain Health), plus full-spectrum, plus custom. Blaze adds voice control. Pulsing is listed 0 to 5,000 Hz. There is no companion app. Helio also offers an on-request specialist protocol. That is not an automatic weekly plan.
In the box, stands, and realistic totals
The sticker lie is the stand. Tabletop G4 includes a small stand. Pro, Max, and Ultimate do not. Live Labor Day add-ons, 1 September 2026: Pro floor $105, Max floor $168, Ultimate floor $262, pneumatic $427, motorized G4 $746, small motorized $525. Goggles are listed in the G4 box. Returned stands restock at 20 percent. Outbound shipping is free to the USA and Canada.
Helio already includes a mount: tabletop on Spark, floor stand on the $1,049 Glow SKU, electric stand on Blaze and Nova. Protective reading glasses are listed in the box. USA shipping is free, 3 to 5 business days after dispatch. Return freight is the buyer’s cost. HSA/FSA via TrueMed is listed on the live Helio site. No matching Rouge TrueMed line is verified here.

User reviews from independent Trustpilot
This row uses public Trustpilot listings only, pulled 1 September 2026. Manufacturer on-site star widgets are a different dataset and are not mixed in. Direct Trustpilot HTML fetch from this writing environment is blocked by a bot check, so score and count were confirmed from the live public listing H1s the same day. Neither sample is invented. Both are thin. Thin is disclosed, not padded.
Rouge Care · Trustpilot
4.5 / 5
The listing exists and the score is high. Thirteen reviews is a thin sample. This page says so. No on-site widget is added to 13.
Helio Cure · Trustpilot
4.1 / 5
The score is lower than Rouge’s 4.5 and the sample is smaller. Eight reviews is a thin Ireland listing. This page does not inflate 4.1 from 8.
Edge on reviews: Rouge Care, 4.5 from 13 versus 4.1 from 8. Both samples are thin. A third brand is not imported to steal this row.
Trial, returns, and warranty
Both main catalogs use a 60-day window and name no restocking fee on the light panels. That row is even. The rest of the policy is not identical.
Rouge: 60-day return on light panels, like-new, original packaging, no restocking fee on those panels. The client pays return shipping. Stands restock at 20 percent. Warranty is three years on G4 panels. Treat Nano as one year unless the order confirmation says otherwise. Outbound shipping is free to the USA and Canada.
Helio: 60-day trial, full refund, no restocking fee, return freight on the buyer. Spark and Glow date the window from delivery. Warranty is three years for manufacturing defects. USA outbound shipping is free. This page invents neither a free Helio return label nor a Rouge panel restocking fee.
FDA-registered, not cleared
Every rectangular home panel here is FDA-registered, not cleared. Registration is a listing, not approval for treating disease. Rouge describes G4 devices as low-risk general wellness products and does not claim medical grade on the pages used here. Helio prints FDA-registered Class II wording. Class II copy is still not a home-panel clearance. Sessions may help a general wellness routine. That is the accurate ceiling on this page.

Who should choose Rouge Care
71-inch Labor Day G4
Height, eight named bands, dual-disclose stickers
- Want a 71.65-inch Max G4 or Ultimate G4 rather than a 64 to 65-inch chassis.
- Want eight named G4 bands including 650, 670, and 1060 nm, and will accept an even ~12.5 percent split.
- Want dual-disclose six-inch solar and spectrometer figures on Tabletop, Pro, Max, and Ultimate.
- Want the live Labor Day 25 percent cut: Nano $221 through Ultimate $4,196.
- Want a handheld Nano, G4 app presets, or free shipping into Canada as well as the USA, and will add a stand on Pro, Max, or Ultimate.
Rouge is not the pick when the first question is 1064 nm share. It is the pick when the first question is 71-inch height and the Labor Day sticker.
Who should choose Helio Cure
19.44% at 1064 nm, stand already paid
Density, 19-degree beam, Spark-to-Nova SKU
- Want published 19.44 percent at 1064 nm on Spark, Glow, or Nova (16.67 percent on Blaze) rather than ~12.5 percent at 1060 nm.
- Want a 19-degree beam on Spark, Glow, or Nova, with LightLab Glow at 16.9 degrees.
- Want the stand already inside the live SKU: Spark tabletop, Glow floor at $1,049, Blaze and Nova electric.
- Want Spark at $449, Glow LightLab 98.87 mW/cm² peak at six inches, on-device presets, no app, and TrueMed HSA/FSA.
- Will accept 64.3 to 65 inches of height and a thin Trustpilot sample of 8.
Helio is not the pick for 71-inch standing coverage or a $221 handheld. It is the pick for printed 1064 nm share, a focused beam, and a mount that is already paid.

Verdict
The honest scorecard is a dual trophy. Helio Cure wins published 19.44 percent at 1064 nm on Spark, Glow, and Nova, a 19-degree beam on those three, Glow’s LightLab six-inch peak, and a stand already inside the live SKU. Rouge Care wins 71.65-inch Max and Ultimate height, Labor Day 25 percent off Nano $221 through Ultimate $4,196, dual-disclose six-inch spectrometer figures across four G4 sizes, and a slightly higher Trustpilot score on a sample that is still thin. Dual-chip on G4 is a fact, not a smear. Blaze’s Single/Dual Chip listing stays on Blaze.

For 71-inch G4 height, eight named bands including 1060 nm, Labor Day stickers, and dual-disclose six-inch spectrometer figures. Nano $221 through Ultimate $4,196, stands extra on Pro, Max, and Ultimate.
A third brand is not the overall winner here. If the shortlist grows, use the live Rouge versus RLT Home page and the 16-brand ranking. Helio versus RLT Home remains planned until that URL stops 404ing.
Frequently asked questions
Is Rouge’s 1060 nm the same as Helio’s 1064 nm?
They sit in the same deep near-infrared window. The ranking difference is share: about 19.44 percent at 1064 nm on Spark, Glow, and Nova versus about 12.5 percent at 1060 nm on G4. Sessions with either mix may help a general wellness routine.
Why does Helio list fewer wavelengths and still win the density row?
Density beats count. Eight G4 names at ~12.5 percent still send only 12.5 percent into 1060 nm. Helio’s 19.44 percent at 1064 nm is more of the deep window. Rouge still wins the named-band list, including extra reds 650 and 670 nm.
Which brand is cheaper on 1 September 2026?
It depends on the rung. Nano $221 has no Helio twin. Spark $449 undercuts Tabletop G4 $483. Glow $1,049 with stand undercuts Pro plus floor stand at $1,226. Max $2,246 is cheaper as a panel than Blaze $2,499, but a motorized Max is $2,992. Ultimate plus motorized is $4,942 versus Nova $4,999. TOP10 6% is RLT Home only.
