Rouge vs BON CHARGE: Which Red Light Therapy Brand Wins in 2026?
Medical review: All articles on Red Light Therapy Top 10 are reviewed for scientific accuracy and evidence-based relevance by our medical expert team. This page is wellness information, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. Sessions with either mix may help a general wellness routine. Neither panel is presented as treating disease. Home panels here are FDA-registered, not cleared.
Rouge Care and BON CHARGE both sell dual-chip home lights in 2026, and that is where the overlap ends. Rouge G4 puts eight named bands including 1060 nm on Tabletop, Pro, Max, and Ultimate, stretches those last two to 71.65 inches, and is in a live 25 percent Labor Day cut. BON CHARGE keeps panels on 660 nm and 850 nm, hangs Max and Super Max on a door, and sells Bullet $199 through Super Max $1,599. Dual trophy from these two brands only.
Winner summary · these two catalogs only
Dual winner: Rouge Care and BON CHARGE
These catalogs answer different first questions. Rouge prints Labor Day prices from Nano $221 through Ultimate G4 $4,196 and sells stands separately above Tabletop. BON CHARGE sells Bullet $199 through Super Max $1,599, hangs the two tall panels from a door, and has no floor-stand SKU. Crowning one brand overall would hide either the 71-inch 1060 nm rows or the $199 door-hang rows. RLT Home appears only later, as a third catalog in the funnel.

Spectrum: eight G4 bands versus a 660/850 lifestyle pair
Count the names first, then weigh them. Rouge Tabletop G4, Pro G4, Max G4, and Ultimate G4 list the same eight wavelengths: 630, 650, 660, 670, 810, 830, 850, and 1060 nm. That is 1060 nm, not 1064 nm. Dual-chip construction places two equally sized dies in every G4 lamp, so the even ~12.5 percent-per-band split is a hardware consequence, not a published clinical-ratio table. Four of eight names are red, so about half of G4 output sits at the surface when all bands run. 1060 nm receives the same ~12.5 percent as 650 nm. Per-wavelength dimming can mute a band. It does not rewrite the dual-chip split into a study-weighted mix. Nano stays on 660 and 850 nm only. Treat Nano as a portable two-band tool.
BON CHARGE Max, Super Max, Demi, and Mini list 660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared. There is no 810 nm, no 830 nm, and no 1060 nm on those four. Dual-chip 5W packages on Demi, Max, and Super Max put red and NIR in the same lamp. Mini is 12 separate 3W LEDs. Bullet is the exception: 630, 660, and 850 nm on three LEDs. That 630 nm diode does not travel to the panels. A torch with a 630 nm chip is not an eight-band panel.
| Band | Rouge G4 share | BON CHARGE panels | What the comparison actually says |
|---|---|---|---|
| 630 nm | ~12.5% | Bullet only | Surface red. Present on G4 and the $199 torch, not on BON CHARGE panels |
| 650 nm | ~12.5% | None | Rouge extra red. Not a BON CHARGE SKU |
| 660 nm | ~12.5% | Yes, workhorse red | Shared. BON CHARGE concentrates here instead of splitting eight ways |
| 670 nm | ~12.5% | None | Rouge extra red |
| 810 nm | ~12.5% | None | G4 NIR that BON CHARGE does not ship |
| 830 nm | ~12.5% | None | G4 NIR that BON CHARGE does not ship |
| 850 nm | ~12.5% | Yes, workhorse NIR | Shared. BON CHARGE concentrates here |
| 1060 nm | ~12.5% | None | The G4 deep-infrared row. This pairing’s clearest spectrum split |
Density beats count. Eight names at ~12.5 percent each is not eight equally funded clinical bets. A buyer who wants 1060 nm on the panel is shopping Rouge G4. A buyer who wants 660 and 850 without six extra names is shopping BON CHARGE. Red light therapy may help some people with skin appearance or recovery goals. It is not a treatment claim on this page.
Power and Irradiance: Measured by Independent Third Parties
Two measurement families show up around home panels. They are not interchangeable. Spectrometers are the accurate reference for LED sources. Solar power meters over-report. Peak compares with peak. Average compares with average. A figure with no distance is not a six-inch figure.
Rouge, dual-disclosed at six inches. G4 pages print 164 mW/cm2 solar-meter at six inches on Tabletop, Pro, Max, and Ultimate. The fair cells are the spectrometer figures: Tabletop 79, Pro 90, Max 81, Ultimate 85 mW/cm2 at six inches. Pro also links an integrating-sphere report. Nano is greater than 100 mW/cm2 at 8 cm, so it does not sit in the six-inch column. Light Therapy Insiders measured a Pro G4 sample at peak 65 and average 59.2 mW/cm2. LTI is affiliated with Rouge and says so. Affiliation does not fake the traces. Do not average 65 / 59.2 with Rouge’s 90 cell, and never mix 164 solar with a spectrometer average.
BON CHARGE, brand-stated, distance unstated. Live comparison table: Bullet >141, Mini >100, Demi >100, Max >142, Super Max >162 mW/cm2. No product card names the instrument or the distance. Setup copy then tells Max and Super Max users to sit 3 to 12 inches away. Brand pages say independently tested. The test file is not attached to the live JSON. This page does not invent a six-inch spectrometer number BON CHARGE has not published. Electrical watts are not optical watts at the skin. Super Max lists 1,500 W wall-plug. Dual-chip 5W is a diode rating, not a six-inch irradiance.
| Model | What the brand publishes | Independent note | Fair use in this pairing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rouge Tabletop G4 | 164 solar / 79 spectrometer at 6 in | No LTI cell on this SKU | Use 79, not 164 |
| Rouge Pro G4 | 164 solar / 90 spectrometer at 6 in | LTI peak 65 / avg 59.2, different method and sample | Keep 90 and 65/59.2 in separate columns |
| Rouge Max G4 | 164 solar / 81 spectrometer at 6 in | No LTI cell on this SKU | Use 81, not 164 |
| Rouge Ultimate G4 | 164 solar / 85 spectrometer at 6 in | No LTI cell on this SKU | Use 85, not 164 |
| BON CHARGE Demi | >100 mW/cm2, distance unstated | No named third-party spectrometer file found | Do not drop into the 6-inch spectrometer column |
| BON CHARGE Max | >142 mW/cm2, distance unstated | Same method gap | Do not compare with Rouge 81 or 90 |
| BON CHARGE Super Max | >162 mW/cm2, distance unstated | Same method gap | Do not compare with Rouge 85 or LTI 65 |
Chips: dual-chip is a fact on both, not a smear
Rouge G4 uses dual-chip 5W lamps. Two dies sit in each package, which is why eight names land at about 12.5 percent each when all bands run. Nano uses 24 chips in 12 lamps on 660 and 850 nm only. BON CHARGE Demi, Max, and Super Max also use dual-chip 5W lamps. Mini is 12 x 3W. Bullet is three LEDs. Dual-chip is a construction choice, not a smear. Wattage splits across two dies, so band count is not band funding. Live LED counts: Rouge Nano 12/24, Tabletop 72, Pro 288, Max 576, Ultimate 1,152. BON CHARGE Bullet 3, Mini 12, Demi 60, Max 200, Super Max 300.
Beam: 30 degrees on both mains lines
Rouge publishes a 30-degree beam on G4. BON CHARGE lists 30 degrees across Bullet, Mini, Demi, Max, and Super Max. There is no 60-degree flood SKU in this pairing. A 30-degree lens concentrates output and can leave the edges of a wide torso under-dosed unless the buyer steps. BON CHARGE setup copy says 3 to 12 inches. Rouge G4 irradiance cells are printed at six inches. Those are not the same geometry.
Coverage: 71.65 inches versus 35.5 inches is not a naming fight
Marketing names recycle. Rouge Max G4 is 71.65 x 11.81 inches with 576 dual-chip LEDs. BON CHARGE Max is 35.8 x 8.37 inches with 200 dual-chip LEDs. Super Max is 35.5 x 11.8 inches with 300 dual-chip LEDs: torso-and-thigh height in one stance, not a head-to-toe single pass. Width is the Super Max upgrade over BON CHARGE Max. Rouge Ultimate G4 keeps 71.65-inch height and doubles width to 22.83 inches. BON CHARGE has no 71-inch SKU. Demi is a 14.96-inch 60-LED mains panel. Pro G4 is 36.22 x 11.81 inches, almost Super Max height, with eight bands instead of two.
Super Max is 31 lb on the live spec card, a real door load. Ultimate G4 is a household-circuit load at about 1,491 W average. Those are logistics facts, not invented weaknesses.
Handhelds are a separate job. Nano $221, Mini $299, and Bullet $199 are not panels. Stacking two narrow door panels increases area at multiplied cost, not irradiance on one region.
Modes and session style
Rouge G4 runs a touchscreen, seven presets, per-wavelength dimming, 1 to 10,000 Hz pulsing, Bluetooth, and an app. Red and NIR groups can run together or apart. Nano stays on red, near-infrared, or both. BON CHARGE mains panels use on-device power, a 5 to 30 minute timer, and red / NIR / both, with no app. Setup copy: hang or stand, pick a time and channel, sit 3 to 12 inches away. Do not stare into the array. Wear goggles whenever near-infrared is toward the eyes. Sessions with either mix may help a general wellness routine.
What is in the box
Mount hardware decides whether the sticker is the real total. Rouge Tabletop G4 includes a small stand. Larger G4 panels include goggles and not a floor stand. BON CHARGE Max and Super Max include a door mount, pulley, braided cables, and threaded posts. That hang kit is not a rolling floor stand. Demi has no hanging kit. Mini Stand is $50. There is no live floor-stand SKU for Demi, Max, or Super Max. A replacement S/Max hanging set is $29.99.
- Rouge Nano: device, USB-C, 10,000 mAh pack, hard case. Two-band handheld, not a G4 twin.
- Rouge Tabletop / Pro / Max / Ultimate G4: panel, goggles, power. Tabletop adds the small stand. Floor and motorized stands extra.
- BON CHARGE Bullet: device, battery charger, rechargeable battery, USB cable. No goggles listed on that card.
- BON CHARGE Mini: device, USB charger, travel case, goggles. Mini Stand not in the box.
- BON CHARGE Demi: device, power cord, goggles. No door kit.
- BON CHARGE Max and Super Max: panel, power cord, goggles, door mount, pulley, braided cables, threaded posts.
A lifestyle photo is not proof a floor stand is free. Goggles ship with G4 panels and with Mini, Demi, Max, and Super Max. Bullet goggles are a separate accessory.

Rouge Care · rougecare.ca
4.5 / 5
Thirteen reviews cannot carry a catalog. The score is high. The n is not. This page does not invent a 500-review Rouge Trustpilot that does not exist.
BON CHARGE · www.blublox.com
4.4 / 5
About 1,510 reviews is a large sample. The listing is the whole catalog, not Super Max buyers only. Public themes mix product praise with support complaints. It is not a panel-only grade.
Award: BON CHARGE. 4.4 from 1,510 beats 4.5 from 13 on score plus sample. On-site Max and Super Max widgets are not Trustpilot and are not added to 1,510.
Trial, warranty, and shipping
Rouge panel returns: 60 days, like-new, original packaging, no restocking fee stated on the lights. Stands carry a 20 percent restocking fee. The client pays return shipping. G4 warranty is three years. Nano’s tech spec lists one year. Treat Nano as one year unless an order confirmation says otherwise. Shipping is stated as free in the USA and Canada.
BON CHARGE: 30-day window. No restocking fee is stated. Return shipping is the customer’s cost unless the product is faulty. Warranty on red light devices is one year. Free shipping is stated on orders over $125. Budget the return trip before treating a 30-day window as a free test. Sixty days and three years beat thirty days and one year on paper. Door hang in the box beats a $168 to $746 stand invoice if a door is the plan.
FDA language: registered, not cleared
Rouge describes G4 devices as low-risk general wellness products and as FDA-registered and Health Canada registered, with RoHS, CE, and FCC marks. BON CHARGE badges Demi, Max, and Super Max as CE, FCC, SAA, FDA, and ARTG, and says the FDA has not evaluated the marketing statements. Home panels in this pairing are FDA-registered, not cleared. Registration is a listing, not clearance. Wellness copy may help some readers. It is not a disease claim here.
Pricing and tier tables (live 1 September 2026)
Rouge is in a live 25 percent Labor Day markdown. BON CHARGE compare-at fields on the five devices are empty, so those are everyday stickers. No discount codes are invented. TOP10 6 percent is RLT Home only and appears only in the funnel. A door hook does not get a dollar added because it is already in the Max and Super Max carton.
Tier 1: Handhelds and tabletops

Bullet wins the sticker at $199. Nano is $221 as a two-band portable. Tabletop G4 is the first eight-band device at $483 with its stand. Demi is $699 with no 1060 nm. Mini plus stand is $349 and is still not a tabletop panel.
Tier 2: Mid panels (about 35 to 36 inches)
| Rouge Pro G4 | BON CHARGE Max | BON CHARGE Super Max | |
|---|---|---|---|
| LEDs | 288 dual-chip | 200 dual-chip | 300 dual-chip |

| Body coverage | Torso-height, 11.8 in wide, eight bands | Torso-height, 8.4 in wide, two bands | Torso-height, 11.8 in wide, two bands |
Labor Day Pro G4 at $1,121 undercuts Super Max, matches Super Max width, and adds 1060 nm. Super Max includes a door kit. BON CHARGE Max is the $999 narrow door panel. Pro plus floor stand is $1,226. That is still not a 71-inch Max G4.
Tier 3: Tall single panel (Rouge only in this pairing)
| Rouge Max G4 | Rouge Ultimate G4 | BON CHARGE Super Max (repeated for scale) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| LEDs | 576 dual-chip | 1,152 dual-chip | 300 dual-chip |

| Stand add-on | Floor $168; motorized $746 | Floor $262; motorized $746 | Door kit included |
| Realistic total | $2,414 floor / $2,992 motorized | $4,458 floor / $4,942 motorized | $1,599 |
| Body coverage | Head-to-toe height, moderate width | Head-to-toe height and adult width | Torso-height, Super Max width, second pass for calves |
There is no BON CHARGE peer at 71 inches. Super Max is $647 cheaper than Max G4 before a Rouge stand, about half the height, and two bands. Ultimate G4 is the width flagship and still needs a stand. Measure 71.65 versus 35.5 inches before LED count decides the cart. BON CHARGE’s JSON still lists masks, a $1,999 blanket, and PEMF mats. Those SKUs are not panels. They explain the lifestyle ecosystem row.
Who should choose Rouge Care?
A reasonable fit
Buyers who actually want this design
- Want 1060 nm, 810 nm, and 830 nm on the panel, not only 660 and 850.
- Want a 71.65-inch Max or Ultimate as a single chassis, and will buy a floor or motorized stand.
- Want dual-disclosed six-inch spectrometer figures (79 to 90) plus the named LTI Pro trace.
- Want a 60-day panel trial and a 3-year G4 warranty, with free USA/Canada shipping.
- Want per-wavelength dimming, pulsing, and an app on G4.
- Are shopping during the live 25 percent Labor Day cut (Nano $221 through Ultimate $4,196 on 1 September 2026).
- Accept that Trustpilot is 4.5 from 13 and thin.
Skip Rouge as the first stop if the budget starts at $199, if a door hook in the box is required, if a Trustpilot n larger than 13 is required, or if two-band 660/850 is the entire brief. Nano is not an 8-band panel. Stands are extra except Tabletop.
Who should choose BON CHARGE?
A reasonable fit
Buyers who already want this design
- Want 660 nm plus 850 nm on purpose, and are not shopping for 810, 830, or 1060 nm on a panel.
- Want a door-hung Max ($999) or Super Max ($1,599) rather than a rolling stand, and accept 35.5 inches of height.
- Want a $199 Bullet or $299 Mini as the whole purchase, or as a travel add-on next to a panel.
- Want one checkout that also sells blue-light glasses, masks, PEMF, and sauna.
- Want simple on-panel red / NIR / both controls with no app.
- Want included goggles on Mini, Demi, Max, and Super Max, HSA/FSA checkout as stated on live pages, and free shipping over $125.
- Care that Trustpilot volume is large (4.4 / 5 from 1,510 under blublox.com), even though that sample is catalog-wide.
- Are fine with a 30-day trial if they pay return shipping, and with a 1-year warranty.
Skip BON CHARGE as the first stop if a 71-inch single panel is required, if 1060 nm density is the job, if a published six-inch spectrometer peak is required, or if a 3-year warranty and 60-day trial are non-negotiable. Super Max is not a 64-inch chassis. There is no live floor-stand SKU.
If this pairing is not the last word
RLT Home is not a third trophy on this page. It is a third catalog for readers who want published seven-band density, spectrometer peaks, nine science-built modes, a usage plan, and a stand in the box. Live 1 September 2026 stickers, TOP10 6 percent off RLT Home only:

The verdict: dual winners
🏆 Dual winner: Rouge Care
For 1060 nm density and 71-inch coverage
Take Tabletop G4, Pro G4, Max G4, or Ultimate G4 when 1060 nm, 830 nm, extra surface reds, a 30-degree beam, and 71.65 inches of height are the job. Labor Day 25 percent off is the live sticker, not a code: Pro $1,121, Max $2,246, Ultimate $4,196. Spectrometer 79 / 90 / 81 / 85 at six inches, not 164 solar. 60-day trial. Three-year G4 warranty. Trustpilot 4.5 from 13, thin. Stands extra except Tabletop.
🏆 Dual winner: BON CHARGE
For sticker, door hang, and Trustpilot sample
Take Bullet at $199, Mini at $299, Demi at $699, Max at $999, or Super Max at $1,599 when 660/850, a door kit in the box, and a lifestyle checkout are the job. Trustpilot 4.4 from 1,510 under blublox.com wins the sample. No 1060 nm. No 71-inch chassis. 30-day trial. One-year warranty. Brand mW/cm2 headlines have no public distance.
Those are two different buyers. RLT Home remains a third catalog in the funnel, not a silent winner of this pairing. Sessions with either mix may help a general wellness routine. Home panels here are FDA-registered, not cleared.

Frequently asked questions
Which brand wins this page?
Dual trophy. Rouge Care for 8-band 1060 nm, Labor Day stickers, 60-day trial, three-year G4 warranty, dual-disclosed spectrometer figures, and 71.65-inch height. BON CHARGE for Bullet $199 through Super Max $1,599, door hang, the lifestyle ecosystem, and Trustpilot 4.4 from 1,510 versus 4.5 from 13. No third-brand crown.
Does BON CHARGE Super Max include 1060 nm?
No. Live Super Max, Max, Demi, and Mini copy lists 660 nm and 850 nm. Bullet lists 630, 660, and 850 nm. None of the five live devices lists 1060 nm or 1064 nm.
Can Super Max greater than 162 be compared with Rouge Max 81?
No. Super Max greater than 162 mW/cm2 has no public instrument or distance. Rouge Max G4 spectrometer is 81 mW/cm2 at six inches. Never mix those cells, and never mix Rouge’s 164 solar-meter number with either column.
Are these FDA-cleared medical-grade panels?
No. Home panels in this pairing are FDA-registered, not cleared. Rouge uses registered wellness language. BON CHARGE uses registered language and states the FDA has not evaluated marketing statements. Registration is a listing, not clearance.
What is the live Trustpilot score for each brand?
Rouge Care 4.5 / 5 from 13 reviews at trustpilot.com/review/rougecare.ca, thin sample. BON CHARGE 4.4 / 5 from 1,510 reviews at trustpilot.com/review/www.blublox.com (former BluBlox domain). Checked 1 September 2026. Awarded on score plus sample. BON CHARGE wins the row. On-site stars are not mixed in.
Is dual-chip a weakness?
No. Dual-chip is a fact on G4 lamps and on BON CHARGE Demi, Max, and Super Max. That is why Rouge’s eight names land at ~12.5% each. It is not a smear.
Is there a Rouge or BON CHARGE discount code on this page?
No. Live manufacturer stickers only, including Rouge’s Labor Day 25 percent cut as printed in products.json on 1 September 2026. BON CHARGE panel compare-at fields are empty. Code TOP10 is 6% off RLT Home only, mentioned only in the funnel.
Which panel is actually full body?
Rouge Max G4 and Ultimate G4 at 71.65 inches are the tallest live single panels here. Super Max is 35.5 x 11.8 inches. A 35-inch door panel is not a 71-inch Max G4.
Should a third catalog be in this fight?
Only if the buyer wants it. RLT Home is linked in the funnel with live prices and TOP10, plus the live Rouge vs RLT Home page. BON CHARGE vs RLT Home 404s and is labelled planned. It is not the overall winner of this pairing.
Bottom line
Rouge G4 is the 8-band, 1060 nm, 71-inch line, currently 25 percent off, with dual-disclosed spectrometer figures and a Trustpilot n of 13. BON CHARGE is the $199-to-$1,599 660/850 ladder, the in-box door hang, and the Trustpilot sample of 1,510. Dual trophy. Sessions with either mix may help a general wellness routine. Home panels here are FDA-registered, not cleared.
