Helio Cure vs Mito: Which Red Light Therapy Brand Wins in 2026?
Medical review: All articles on Red Light Therapy Top 10 are reviewed for scientific accuracy and evidence-based relevance by our medical expert team. This page is wellness information, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. Sessions with either mix may help a general wellness routine. Neither panel is presented as treating disease.
This is a 1064 nm versus value fight between two home-panel catalogs, not a third brand. Helio Cure publishes 19.44% of Spark, Glow, and Nova at 1064 nm, skips blue on purpose, and ships a 19-degree beam on three of four panels. Mito Red Light (mitoredlight.com, not MITO LIGHT Europe) typically lists no 1064 nm at all, publishes 17% at 810 nm on MitoPRO X, sells ADAPT modes, and carries a much larger public Trustpilot sample. Criterion rows split. The overall crown below is Helio Cure. Mito is the genuine runner-up for buyers who want a lower sticker, a wider SKU ladder, and a proven review base.
Winner summary · 1064 vs value
Overall winner: Helio Cure
Helio Cure is a four-panel US line sold by Quantron LLC at heliocure.com. Spark, Glow, Blaze, and Nova share one six-band mix: 630, 660, 810, 830, 850, and 1064 nm. There is no 480 nm blue and no 590 nm amber. Mito Red Light, based in the United States and sold at mitoredlight.com, is a three-series ladder plus a still-live 2.0 two-band line. That is not MITO LIGHT, the European brand at mitolight.com. Mixing those two names is the most common catalog error in this pairing, and it is avoided here.
Live manufacturer stickers were pulled 1 September 2026 from heliocure.com/products.json and mitoredlight.com/products.json, including Mito series variants. Helio is on a Labor Day compare-at sale: Spark $449 (was $549), Glow $1,049 with floor stand (was $1,199), Blaze $2,499 (was $2,799), Nova $4,999 (was $5,649). MitoPRO X starts at $449 for the 300X. MitoADAPT 4.0 starts at $549 for the MIN. MitoPRO+ starts at $369. MitoMIN 2.0 is still $249. No coupon is invented for either catalog. Code TOP10 is 6 percent off RLT Home only and appears only in the later funnel if a buyer leaves this pairing for the 16-brand table.
Both brands offer a three-year warranty, a 60-day no-restock trial, FDA registration rather than clearance, and HSA/FSA via TrueMed on flagged SKUs. Helio puts the stand in the live SKU on Glow, Blaze, and Nova. Mito sells stands separately at $139 (about $349 for the universal).
At-a-glance verdict: Helio Cure if the purchase is 19.44% at 1064 nm, no blue, a 19-degree beam, and a 64-inch chassis with the stand already priced in. Mito Red Light if the purchase is a lower entry price, ADAPT wavelength modes, a 43-inch 1500X, and a Trustpilot listing with hundreds of reviews rather than eight.

The brands at a glance
Helio Cure
The no-blue, 19.44% 1064 nm catalog
Helio Cure sells four named panels that share a six-wavelength mix and an offline control story. Spark is the 72-LED tabletop at 11.8 x 11.4 inches. Glow is the 216-LED, 29.9 x 11.8-inch half-body panel, and the only Helio unit LightLab International has a dedicated physical report for. Blaze is the 480-LED, 64.3-inch full-body panel. Nova is the 864-LED, 65 x 20.5-inch flagship.
Helio refuses 480 nm blue on purpose. That is a design thesis, not a smear of Mito’s 590 nm amber on PRO X and ADAPT. Helio also publishes a thick 1064 nm slice and a 19-degree beam on Spark, Glow, and Nova. Full-body coverage is a single tall chassis, not a two-panel stack.
Mito Red Light
The size-ladder dual-chip specialist
The live panel-series collection on 1 September 2026 holds three families: MitoPRO+ (four wavelengths), MitoPRO X (six wavelengths including 590 nm and 810 nm, app), and MitoADAPT 4.0 (eight wavelengths to 940 nm, 11 modes). The 2.0 two-band line is still sold: MitoMIN $249, MitoMID $449, MitoMAX $749, MitoMEGA $1,049.
TruDUAL puts two chips behind one lens. Mito publishes the lens count and the chip count together, for example 300 lenses / 600 chips on the 1500X. That is a surface-spread design, not a hidden defect. What the live panel catalog does not list is 1064 nm. The deepest band on MitoADAPT is 940 nm. PRO X and PRO+ stop at 850 nm. PRO+ also skips 810 nm.
Spectrum and wavelength density
Wavelength count is the wrong first question. Density is the right one. A panel can list six or eight bands and still pour most of the diodes into shallow red. Helio publishes per-band LED share on every size. Mito publishes it on MitoPRO X, describes ADAPT as an even eight-circuit split, and keeps 2.0 at a simple 50/50 660/850 pair.
Helio Cure: 19.44% at 1064 nm, on purpose
Spark, Glow, and Nova use the same allocation: about 19.4% at 630 nm, 19.4% at 660 nm, 19.4% at 810 nm, 13.9% at 830 nm, 8.3% at 850 nm, and 19.4% at 1064 nm. Combined 810 plus 1064 is about 38.8%. Blaze is slightly different: 20% at each of 630, 660, and 810 nm, 13.3% at 830 nm, 10% at 850 nm, and 16.7% at 1064 nm. Combined 810 plus 1064 on Blaze is about 36.7%.
That 1064 nm slice is the point of this pairing. Helio puts nearly one diode in five on Spark, Glow, and Nova at 1064 nm, and still keeps 19.4% at 810 nm.
Mito Red Light: 17% at 810 nm, no 1064 nm
MitoPRO X publishes 6% at 590 nm, 22% at 630 nm, 22% at 660 nm, 17% at 810 nm, 17% at 830 nm, and 17% at 850 nm. That 17% at 810 nm is real density, not a footnote. It is also the deepest published allocation Mito offers on its bestseller line. There is still no 1064 nm column. MitoADAPT 4.0 adds 670 nm and 940 nm on eight even circuits, so each band is about 12.5%. 940 nm is not 1064 nm. The bands sit in different water-window and penetration discussions in the literature, and this page does not treat them as interchangeable.
MitoPRO+ is 25% each at 630, 660, 830, and 850 nm, with no 810 nm and no 1064 nm. Mito 2.0 is 660 plus 850 only. Those SKUs can be the right budget buy. They are not a 1064 nm alternative to Helio Spark.
Edge: Helio Cure on density that matches the 1064 nm brief. Mito keeps a published 17% at 810 nm on MitoPRO X, which is a genuine mid-depth asset, and still has no 1064 nm diode to score.
Power and Irradiance: Measured by Independent Third Parties
Irradiance tables go wrong when a 12-inch brand figure is dropped next to a 6-inch spectrometer peak and treated as the same measurement. This page keeps peak with peak and average with average, and it keeps distance in the cell.
Helio Cure: Glow-only LightLab, plus a 12-inch brand figure
Helio commissions LightLab International. The physical report is on Glow. Spark, Blaze, and Nova inherit that work rather than sitting on their own 6-inch tables. Some Helio documents also publish about 69 mW/cm² at 12 inches. Twelve inches is not six inches. This comparison does not convert the 12-inch number into a fake 6-inch peak.
Helio also markets “over 300 mW/cm² at source” on product pages. At-source figures are not comparable to 6-inch or 12-inch tissue-plane readings. They are left in the marketing column.
Mito Red Light: dual 6-inch figures, plus LTI on several SKUs
Mito publishes both a solar-meter style number and a spectrometer style number at 6 inches on most panel pages. Examples from the live spec set: MitoPRO 300X greater than 130 solar / greater than 56 spectrometer; 750X greater than 160 / greater than 70; 1500X greater than 160 / greater than 73; MitoADAPT MAX 4.0 greater than 140 / greater than 60. Solar meters over-report LED output. The spectrometer column is the one that belongs next to other spectrometer columns.
Independent Light Therapy Insiders work, recorded in the competitor file, includes MitoPRO 300X peak 60 / average 51.8, MitoADAPT MAX peak 74 / average 58, and MitoPRO 1500+ peak 87 / average 76.5. Those are 6-inch class spectrometer readings. They can be compared with each other. They cannot be compared with Helio’s 12-inch 69 mW/cm² as if the distances matched.
Mito’s labeling has been internally inconsistent on which instrument produced which headline. Treat the dual-figure habit as useful and the inconsistency as a caveat.
Edge: Mito on the volume of 6-inch spectrometer and LTI data across SKUs. Helio on having a named third-party lab, with the honest limit that Glow was the unit on the bench. Neither brand wins a like-for-like 6-inch peak-to-peak fight against the other, because Helio does not publish a full-line 6-inch table.
LED chips: single-chip versus TruDUAL
Helio Spark, Glow, and Nova use 3535 single-chip 5W LEDs. Each diode is one wavelength at full drive. Helio Blaze is the exception in Helio’s own listing: the spec sheet says Single/Dual Chip. That listing is disclosed here, not used as a smear of the rest of the line.
MitoPRO X and MitoADAPT use TruDUAL. Two chips share a lens. A 1500X is 300 lenses and 600 chips. Dual-chip is a fact: more even surface spread, less power per wavelength than a single-chip diode of the same wattage class. Single-chip usually means a cleaner peak and more depth per band. Skin-first buyers can prefer dual-chip. 1064 nm buyers will prefer Helio Spark, Glow, and Nova.
Density still beats raw chip count. Counting Mito’s 600 chips on a 1500X against Helio Blaze’s 480 single-chip LEDs without asking which wavelengths those chips emit is how a 1064 nm fight gets lost in a spreadsheet.
Edge: Helio Cure for single-chip depth on Spark, Glow, and Nova, with Blaze’s mixed listing called out. Mito for a documented dual-chip even-spread story on PRO X and ADAPT.
Beam angle
Helio specifies 19 degrees on Spark, Glow, and Nova. That is a tight cone. Intensity stays higher farther along the axis and falls faster off-axis. Blaze uses a 15 / 30 / 60 mix, closer to a multi-lens coverage idea. Mito’s FAQ states a 60-degree sweet spot on the panel lines. Sixty degrees floods a wider patch at typical 6-inch to 12-inch sitting distance and drops peak intensity faster with distance than a 19-degree optic.
Neither angle is wrong. A 19-degree beam matches Helio’s deep-spot thesis. A 60-degree beam matches Mito’s even-coverage thesis.
Edge: Helio Cure for the focused 19-degree spec on three of four panels. Mito for the 60-degree flood that matches a value full-torso sitting session.
Coverage and form factor
Helio Blaze at 64.3 x 11.8 inches, 480 LEDs, is a lie-under class chassis. Helio Nova at 65 x 20.5 inches, 864 LEDs, is the wide flagship. Both include an electric stand in the live SKU. Helio Glow is 29.9 x 11.8 inches; the $1,049 variant already bundles a floor stand, and a twin Glow plus rolling stand is $1,999. Helio Spark is 11.8 x 11.4 inches with a tabletop stand.
Mito’s tallest live PRO X single panel is the 1500X at 10 x 43 inches with 300 dual-chip lenses. Forty-three inches covers torso and thighs for many adults and still asks tall users to shift. A 750X plus 1500X stack is $1,948 before the universal stand. MitoADAPT MAX is 12 x 36 inches at $1,499. MegaX is not in the live panel-series collection pulled 1 September 2026.
Edge: Helio Cure for a true 64-inch and 65-inch single panel with the stand already in the price. Mito for more width choices under $1,500 and a stack path that still costs less than Helio Blaze.
Modes, apps, and privacy
Helio ships five named presets (Face/Skin, Pain Relief, Weight Management, Hair Restoration, Brain Health), a full-spectrum mode, and custom settings, with pulse from 0 to 5000 Hz. Blaze adds voice. There is no companion app and no session upload. That is a privacy choice, and it is also fewer programmable wavelength combinations than MitoADAPT.
MitoPRO+ is a timer device. MitoPRO X adds a touchscreen and app. MitoADAPT 4.0 is the mode specialist: 11 wavelength-combination programs plus the app. Buyers who want named programs will feel ADAPT. Buyers who do not want a health device on Wi-Fi will feel Helio’s offline panel.
Edge: Mito on ADAPT’s 11 named combinations and the PRO X app. Helio on offline controls and a short, named preset list that does not require an account.
What’s in the box

Once a Mito stand is added, a 1500X is about $1,438. Helio Glow is $1,049 with the floor stand already in the SKU. Helio Blaze at $2,499 is still a 64-inch 1064 nm chassis rather than a 43-inch 850 nm ceiling.
Edge: Helio Cure for stand-in-SKU on the sizes that actually need a stand. Mito for a cheap a-la-carte stand if the buyer already has a mount.
User reviews: independent Trustpilot, 1 September 2026
This row uses public Trustpilot listings only. Manufacturer on-site star widgets are not mixed in. Scores, counts, and the pull date are stated. Direct Trustpilot HTML fetch from this environment returned a challenge or HTTP 500, so score and count were confirmed from the live Trustpilot result index for those URLs on 1 September 2026.
Helio Cure
4.1 / 5
The sample is thin. Eight reviews cannot support the same confidence as a multi-hundred listing. The thin sample is not hidden on this page.
Mito Red Light
4.4 / 5
Reviewers often mention support, packing, and setup. Complaints include stand assembly and occasional delivery issues. A 4.4 from 756 beats a 4.1 from 8 on score and on sample.
Edge: Mito Red Light. 4.4 from 756 versus 4.1 from 8. Helio’s listing is too small to win a reviews criterion, even though the score is not poor.
Trial, returns, and warranty
Both catalogs advertise 60 days and three years, with no restocking fee on the panel trial. Both make the customer pay return shipping, with one Mito exception: a paid Free Returns add-on at checkout. Helio’s written window is spelled out on Spark and Glow.
Warranty is a tie at three years for the panels in this comparison. Mito’s flexible products use a shorter warranty and are out of scope here.
Edge: Tie on the core 60-day, no-restock, customer-pays-shipping, three-year shape. Mito slightly ahead only for buyers who will buy the paid return add-on. Helio does not charge a percentage restocking fee the way some other 1064 nm catalogs do.
FDA-registered, not cleared
Every rectangular home panel here is FDA-registered. Registration is a listing, not clearance. Helio product copy says “FDA-registered as a Class II medical device.” Mito uses medical-grade and Class II language on PRO X and ADAPT. The only cleared Mito SKU in the brand file is the MitoGLOW mask, which is not a panel.
Both brands sit in the same listing class. This page uses FDA-registered for both.
Pricing: live stickers, 1 September 2026
Prices below are manufacturer selling prices pulled 1 September 2026. Helio is on Labor Day compare-at tags. Mito series prices are the live variant prices on mitopro-x-series, mitoadapt-series, mitopro-series, and the 2.0 handles. No Helio code and no Mito code are invented. TOP10 is 6% off current RLT Home live prices only and is reserved for the funnel at the bottom.

| Body coverage | Torso-scale, 30-inch height | Half-body, 23-inch height | Half-body, 24-inch height | Half-body, 27-inch height |
Glow costs more than a 750X plus stand and returns a 30-inch 1064 nm panel with the floor stand already paid. A 750X at about $888 is the value mid-size and stops at 850 nm.
Tier 3: Full-height single panel
| Item | Helio Blaze | MitoPRO 1500X | MitoADAPT MAX 4.0 | 750X + 1500X stack |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| Deepest band | 1064 nm at 16.7% | 850 nm (17% at 810 nm) | 940 nm | 850 nm |
| Panel price | $2,499 (was $2,799) | $1,299 | $1,499 | $1,948 |
| Stand | Electric stand included | $139 extra | $139 extra | Universal about $349 |

| Body coverage | Head-to-toe class height, 11.8 in wide | 43 in tall, shift for full height | 36 in tall | Stacked height, 10 in wide, manual stand |
A 1500X plus stand is about $1,000 less than Blaze and 21 inches shorter, with no 1064 nm. The 750X plus 1500X stack closes the height gap and still lands under Blaze. The stack does not add 1064 nm.
Tier 4: Wide flagship
| Item | Helio Nova | 2x MitoADAPT MAX 4.0 | 2x MitoPRO 1500X |
|---|---|---|---|
| LEDs / chips | 864 single-chip | 576 lenses / 1,152 chips | 600 lenses / 1,200 chips |
| Size | 65 x 20.5 in, one chassis | Two 12 x 36 in panels | Two 10 x 43 in panels |
| Deepest band | 1064 nm at 19.44% | 940 nm | 850 nm |
| Live sticker | $4,999 (was $5,649), electric stand included | $2,898 plus stand | $2,598 plus stand |
| Body coverage | Head-to-toe, 20.5 in wide | Array width depends on the universal stand | Array width depends on the universal stand |
Nova is a $5,000-class 1064 nm slab. Two Mito panels can beat it on chip count and sticker. They still do not put 19.44% of the array at 1064 nm.
Who should choose Helio Cure
Best fit
1064 nm density, no blue, 19-degree beam, stand already in the SKU

A buyer who wants a third 1064 nm line, a personalised weekly plan, and a motorized stand can read the RLT Home comparisons after this page. That is a funnel, not a silent overall crown on this scorecard.

Live 1 September 2026 stickers from redlighttherapyhome.com/products.json: RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI $495 (TOP10 $465), RLT Home Total Spectrum COMPACT $995 (TOP10 $935), RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX $1,595 (TOP10 $1,499), RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA $2,595 (TOP10 $2,439), RLT Home Total Spectrum ELITE $4,495 (TOP10 $4,225). The verdict
Run the comparison on 1064 nm density, beam, chassis height, and whether blue is in the mix, and Helio Cure takes the overall win. Run it on sticker, SKU count, ADAPT software, 6-inch LTI volume, and Trustpilot sample, and Mito Red Light takes those rows. This page does not average those rows into a tie. The pairing was framed as a 1064 nm versus value fight. Helio actually ships 1064 nm. Mito does not.
That is not a claim that every buyer should spend $2,499 on a Helio Blaze. A $249 two-band tabletop shopper is shopping Mito on purpose. The overall crown answers a different question: if both brands are on the shortlist and 1064 nm is the brief, which name wins. Helio Cure wins that question.
🏆 Winner: Helio Cure
For 1064 nm buyers
Helio Cure is the stronger overall choice in this two-brand fight. Spark, Glow, and Nova put 19.44% of diodes at 1064 nm and another 19.4% at 810 nm, skip blue, and use a 19-degree beam. Blaze is a 64.3-inch chassis at 16.7% 1064 nm with the electric stand in the $2,499 Labor Day sticker. Nova is the 65 x 20.5-inch flagship at $4,999. Glow is the only size LightLab physically tested, which is a limit, not a secret.
The cost of that win is a Trustpilot sample of eight reviews, a 12-inch brand irradiance figure that must not be compared as a 6-inch peak, and a Blaze chip listing that still says single/dual.
🥈 Runner-up: Mito Red Light
For value, ADAPT, and reviews
Mito Red Light is the genuine runner-up niche, not a leftover. MitoMIN 2.0 at $249, MitoPRO 300X at $449, MitoPRO 1500X at $1,299, and MitoADAPT MAX at $1,499 build a ladder Helio does not match. Published 17% at 810 nm on PRO X is a real mid-depth allocation. Eleven ADAPT modes plus an app are a real software story. Trustpilot 4.4 from 756 reviews, pulled 1 September 2026, wins the reviews row on score and sample.
The niche ends where 1064 nm begins. No live Mito panel in this pull carries that band. Stands stay extra at $139.
Sessions with either mix may help a general wellness routine. Neither brand is treated as a market crown outside this pairing. RLT Home is a third catalog in the funnel, not the winner of Helio versus Mito.
Frequently asked questions
Does any Mito Red Light panel use 1064 nm?
Not in the live catalog pulled 1 September 2026. MitoPRO+ and MitoPRO X stop at 850 nm. MitoADAPT 4.0 adds 940 nm. 940 nm is not 1064 nm. Helio Spark, Glow, and Nova publish 19.44% at 1064 nm. Blaze publishes 16.7%.
Is Mito Red Light the same brand as MITO LIGHT?
No. Mito Red Light is mitoredlight.com, the US dual-chip catalog scored here. MITO LIGHT is a separate European brand at mitolight.com. This page does not mix their specs or prices.
Can Helio’s 69 mW/cm² at 12 inches be compared with Mito’s 6-inch figures?
No. Peak should be compared with peak, average with average, and distance with distance. Helio’s LightLab work is Glow-first. Some Helio docs also cite about 69 mW/cm² at 12 inches. Mito publishes 6-inch solar and spectrometer numbers, and Light Therapy Insiders has 6-inch class peaks on several SKUs. Those distances are not the same measurement.
Is dual-chip a reason to avoid Mito?
No. TruDUAL is a documented design. Two chips behind one lens usually spread surface light more evenly and split power per wavelength. Helio Spark, Glow, and Nova stay single-chip. Helio Blaze lists single/dual. Dual-chip is a fact in the table, not an insult in the verdict.
Why does Mito win user reviews if Helio is the overall winner?
Trustpilot on 1 September 2026 shows Helio Cure at 4.1 / 5 from 8 reviews and Mito Red Light at 4.4 / 5 from 756 reviews. The row is awarded on score plus sample. A thin Helio sample is stated, not hidden. Overall winner still follows the 1064 nm brief that defines this pairing.
Are these panels FDA-registered or cleared?
No. Both brands sell FDA-registered rectangular panels. Registration is a listing, not clearance. Mito’s MitoGLOW mask is the cleared SKU in that catalog, and it is not a panel. Helio’s Class II wording does not change the listing class.
Is there a discount code for Helio or Mito on this page?
No. Live manufacturer stickers are used as pulled. TOP10 is 6% off current RLT Home live prices only, and it appears only in the RLT Home funnel. Inventing a Helio or Mito code would be a miss.
Which tabletop is the better $449 buy, Helio Spark or MitoPRO 300X?
Spark if 1064 nm, no blue, and a 19-degree beam are the brief. 300X if 590 nm amber, 17% at 810 nm, TruDUAL, and the Mito app path matter more. Same sticker on 1 September 2026. Different spectra.
