Vital vs Helio Cure: Which Red Light Therapy Brand Wins in 2026?
Medical review: All articles on Red Light Therapy Top 10 are reviewed for scientific accuracy and evidence-based relevance by our medical expert team. This page is wellness information, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. Sessions with either mix may help a general wellness routine. Neither panel is presented as treating disease.
This is a 1060 nm versus 1064 nm fight between two home-panel catalogs, not a third brand. Vital lists nine named 2.0 bands including 1060 nm on the $599 Pro 2.0 and does not publish LED share. Helio Cure publishes 19.44% of Spark, Glow, and Nova at 1064 nm (Blaze 16.7%), skips blue, and ships a 19-degree beam with the stand in the SKU. Overall winner: Helio Cure. Vital is the genuine runner-up for that $599 nine-name list and for Trustpilot 4.8 from 83 versus 4.1 from 8.
Winner summary · 1060 vs 1064
Overall winner: Helio Cure
These catalogs do not share a full-body chassis. Vital Elite 2.0 is 36.6 x 8.5 inches. Helio Glow is 29.9 x 11.8. Helio Blaze is 64.3 x 11.8. Helio Nova is 65 x 20.5. The honest overlap is LED count: Pro 2.0 and Spark both run 72 LEDs; Elite 2.0 and Glow both run 216. Everything taller than 37 inches is a Helio home size. Vital Premier, Ultimate, and Bed ($7,995 to $24,995, final sale) stay out of this scorecard.
Live stickers were pulled 1 September 2026 from both stores’ products.json. Vital: Pro $399, Pro 2.0 $599, Elite $999, Elite 2.0 $1,499. Helio Labor Day: Spark $449, Glow $1,049 (floor stand in SKU; twin rolling $1,999), Blaze $2,499, Nova $4,999. No coupon is invented. TOP10 is 6 percent off RLT Home only and appears only in the later funnel.
Both use 5W-class LEDs, a three-year warranty, and FDA-registered (not cleared) rectangular panels. Helio: 60 days, customer-paid return shipping. Vital: 30 days on home devices only. Sessions may help a general wellness routine.
At-a-glance verdict: Helio Cure if the purchase is published 19.44% at 1064 nm, no blue, a 19-degree beam, and a 64-inch chassis with the stand already priced in. Vital Red Light if the purchase is nine named 2.0 wavelengths including 1060 nm on a $599 Pro 2.0, a Pets preset, or a Trustpilot listing of 4.8 from 83 rather than 4.1 from 8.

The brands at a glance
Vital Red Light
Nine named 2.0 bands, including 1060 nm, on a short home stack
Vital Red Light is a Florida home-panel line. Live home catalog: Pro $399, Pro 2.0 $599, Elite $999, Elite 2.0 $1,499, plus Charge $299. The 2.0 trick is nine named wavelengths including 1060 nm. Density is unpublished. Nine names are not nine equal slices. 1060 nm is not 1064 nm.
Outliyr measured Elite 1.0 at 78.3 mW/cm² at 12 inches. Brand pages still print 150 to 210 mW/cm² with method unstated. Those families do not mix. Elite stands are extra ($99 / $199 / $499). Trial is 30 days on home units. Warranty is three years.
Helio Cure
The no-blue, 19.44% 1064 nm catalog
Helio Cure sells four named panels that share a six-wavelength mix. Spark is 72 LEDs at 11.8 x 11.4 inches. Glow is 216 LEDs at 29.9 x 11.8 inches, and the only Helio unit LightLab physically tested. Blaze is 480 LEDs at 64.3 inches. Nova is 864 LEDs at 65 x 20.5 inches.
Helio refuses 480 nm blue on purpose, not as a smear of Vital 2.0. It publishes a thick 1064 nm slice and a 19-degree beam on Spark, Glow, and Nova. Full-body coverage is one tall chassis. Five named presets plus custom sit on a touchscreen. There is no app.
Spectrum and wavelength density: the most important difference
Count is the wrong first question. Density is the right one. Nine named bands can still pour most diodes into 660 and 850 nm. Six named bands can still put 19.44% at 1064 nm.
Vital: nine named 2.0 bands, share unpublished
Vital 1.0 (Pro, Elite) lists four bands. Outliyr’s Elite 1.0 spectrometer trace found 630, 660, 830, and 850 nm. This page uses that measured set for Elite 1.0 and treats 810 nm as a 2.0 addition. Allocation on 1.0 is unpublished.
Vital 2.0 lists nine: 480, 590, 630, 660, 670, 810, 830, 850, and 1060 nm. That named list is the genuine Vital advantage. Helio has none of 480, 590, 670, or 1060 nm. Helio has 1064 nm with a printed share. LED share on Vital 2.0 is unpublished, so a $599 Pro 2.0 buyer is buying the name, not a checkable slice.
Helio Cure: 19.44% at 1064 nm, printed
Helio Spark, Helio Glow, and Helio Nova share one mix on live product copy: 19.44% of output at each of 630, 660, 810, and 1064 nm, plus 13.88% at 830 nm. The residual is about 8.3% at 850 nm, matching the stored allocation (850 at 8.3%). Combined 810 + 1064 on those three sizes is 38.88%. Helio Blaze prints a slightly different mix: 20% at each of 630, 660, and 810 nm, 16.67% at 1064 nm, 13.33% at 830 nm, and about 10% at 850 nm. Combined 810 + 1064 on Blaze is 36.7%.
Those percentages are LED-share figures on heliocure.com. They win Helio the 1064 nm row. They do not make a home panel equal the Barrett laser, and they do not erase Vital’s extra named bands. They are why density beats count here.
| Band | Vital 2.0 (named) | Helio Spark / Glow / Nova | Helio Blaze |
|---|---|---|---|
| 480 nm blue | Named, share unpublished | None, by design | None, by design |
| 590 nm yellow | Named, share unpublished | None, by design | None, by design |
| 630 nm | Named | 19.44% | 20% |
| 660 nm | Named | 19.44% | 20% |
| 670 nm | Named | None | None |
| 810 nm | Named on 2.0 | 19.44% | 20% |
| 830 nm | Named | 13.88% | 13.33% |
| 850 nm | Named | ~8.3% | ~10% |
| 1060 nm | Named, share unpublished | None | None |
| 1064 nm | None | 19.44% | 16.67% |
Edge: Helio Cure on published 1064 nm density and on combined 810 + 1064 share a buyer can check. Vital on named-band breadth, including 1060 nm, 590 nm yellow, 670 nm, and 480 nm on 2.0, with the honest limit that share is unpublished. Density beats count. 1060 nm is not 1064 nm.
Power and Irradiance: Measured by Independent Third Parties
Peak-to-peak or average-to-average only. Never mix a solar-meter headline with a spectrometer cell, never mix at-source wattage with a 6-inch or 12-inch lab figure, and never mix a 6-inch Glow reading with a 12-inch Elite reading.
Vital, unstated-method catalog claims. Every home panel page prints 150 to 210 mW/cm² with distance and instrument unstated. Do not put that range next to a Helio LightLab reading, and do not treat Charge and Elite 2.0 as the same dose because they share the same range.
Vital, spectrometer. Outliyr measured a Vital Elite 1.0 sample with a Hopoocolor OHSP-350IR at 78.3 mW/cm² at 12 inches, peaks at 630, 660, 830, and 850 nm (certification N8XBRBPMP9). Outliyr listed 192 LEDs on that sample; Vital’s live Elite page lists 210. Both figures are reported. No public Outliyr cell is cited here for Pro, Pro 2.0, or Elite 2.0. Do not borrow the Elite 12-inch cell for a 2.0 nine-band panel.
Helio, LightLab on Glow, then inherited. LightLab International physically tested Glow for spectrum, irradiance, flicker, beam, and noise. Helio treats wavelength, irradiance, and flicker as line-wide because other sizes share LEDs, lenses, and driver. Noise is Glow-only. The 19-degree beam holds for Spark and Nova, not Blaze. Brand docs also cite about 69 mW/cm² at 12 inches. Light Therapy Insiders reported a Glow sample at about 86 peak / 71 average at 6 inches, with labeled peaks running roughly 10 to 20 nm high. Those notes are independent, not a smear. At-source copy citing 300+ mW/cm² is not a 6-inch or 12-inch cell.
| Model | Brand irradiance | Independent spectrometer | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vital Pro / Pro 2.0 | 150 to 210 mW/cm², distance unstated | Not cited here | Do not borrow the Elite 12-inch cell |
| Vital Elite 1.0 | 150 to 210 mW/cm², distance unstated | Outliyr 78.3 mW/cm² at 12 in | Hopoocolor OHSP-350IR; 630/660/830/850 nm |
| Vital Elite 2.0 | 150 to 210 mW/cm², distance unstated | Not cited here | Nine bands, still no published 6-inch spectrometer average on this page |
| Helio Glow | Brand also cites ~69 mW/cm² at 12 in. At-source copy cites 300+ mW/cm² | LightLab physical report. LTI class figures ~86 peak / ~71 avg at 6 in | Do not drop a 6-inch Glow cell next to a 12-inch Elite cell |
| Helio Spark / Blaze / Nova | Same brand 12-inch and at-source language | Inherited from Glow, not a second physical LightLab chassis | Blaze beam is a different listing (15/30/60) |
Edge: Split. Helio for a signed LightLab folder on Glow, with the Glow-only physical-test limit stated. Vital for a public 12-inch spectrometer cell on Elite 1.0. No row is awarded by converting 6 inches into 12 inches with a homemade multiplier. Peak stays with peak. Average stays with average. Distance stays with distance.
LED chips: single-chip is a fact, dual-chip is a fact
Helio Spark, Glow, and Nova list 3535 single-chip 5W LEDs. Blaze lists Single/Dual Chip. Dual-chip is a fact, not a smear: two peaks behind one lens, more even surface spread, split power per wavelength. It does not make an unpublished Vital chip type into dual-chip.
Vital lists 5W LEDs. Chip configuration is not published. The unknown is recorded as unknown.
Edge: Helio Cure on Spark, Glow, and Nova, where 3535 single-chip is actually printed. Blaze stays caveated. Vital is not scored as dual-chip and is not scored as single-chip.
Beam angle
Vital publishes 30 degrees. That flood spreads a session across a wider patch and throws more light past the edges of an 8.5-inch face.
Helio Spark, Glow, and Nova publish 19 degrees (LightLab Glow has been cited around 16.9 degrees). A tighter beam puts more wattage onto a smaller patch. Blaze lists 15 / 30 / 60 instead.
Edge: Helio Cure on Spark, Glow, and Nova for a focused 19-degree beam if the brief is intensity on a target. Vital on a 30-degree flood if the brief is a wider patch on an already-narrow 8.5-inch panel. Blaze is its own row.
Coverage, height, and LED packing
Vital Pro 2.0 is 12.5 x 8.5 inches, 72 LEDs. Elite 2.0 is 36.6 x 8.5 inches, 216 LEDs, about 0.69 LEDs per square inch versus Glow at about 0.61. The packing win sits on an 8.5-inch-wide column. Height above 37 inches is a shift or a different catalog.
Helio Spark is 11.8 x 11.4 inches, 72 LEDs. Glow is 29.9 x 11.8, 216 LEDs. Blaze is 64.3 x 11.8, 480 LEDs. Nova is 65 x 20.5, 864 LEDs, more than twice as wide as Elite 2.0. Two Elite 2.0 panels raise coverage area, not irradiance on one spot, and stay 8.5 inches wide each.
Edge: Helio Cure for a true 64-inch and 65-inch single panel, and for 11.8-inch or 20.5-inch width. Vital for denser packing on the 8.5-inch face and for a 36.6-inch nine-band column that still is not lie-under height.
Modes, apps, and privacy
Vital 2.0 adds six named presets: Fat Loss, Skin, Pets, Muscle, Sleep, and Joint Pain. A companion app is optional. Pets is a real differentiator. Buyers who do not want a health device on Wi-Fi will notice the app.
Helio ships five named presets, full-spectrum, and custom, with pulse from 0 to 5000 Hz. Blaze adds voice. There is no app. That is a privacy choice, and fewer named programs than Vital 2.0.
Edge: Vital on Pets, six 2.0 presets, and the optional app. Helio on offline controls and a short, named preset list that does not require an account.

Edge: Helio Cure for stand-in-SKU on the sizes that actually need a stand. Vital for tabletop-in-box on Pro / Pro 2.0 and goggles in every home-panel box. Budget the stand on Elite either way.
User reviews: independent Trustpilot, 1 September 2026
Public Trustpilot listings only. On-site star widgets are not mixed in. Direct HTML fetch returned HTTP 403 or 500, so score and count were confirmed from the live Trustpilot result index on 1 September 2026: Vital 4.8 / 5 from 83; Helio Cure 4.1 / 5 from 8 (Ireland listing).
Trustpilot · Vital Red Light
4.8 / 5
Eighty-three reviews is usable. A 4.8 average can still move. Reviews are opinions, not outcomes data.
Trustpilot · Helio Cure
4.1 / 5
The sample is thin. Eight reviews cannot match eighty-three. A 4.1 from 8 is not a poor score. It is a small score.
Edge: Vital Red Light. 4.8 from 83 versus 4.1 from 8. The row is awarded on score plus sample, not vibes. Helio’s listing is too small to win a reviews criterion even though the score is not poor. On-site shop stars stay off this row.
Trial, returns, and warranty
Vital: 30 days on home units, customer pays return shipping. Commercial SKUs and stands tagged final sale are out. Helio: 60 days from delivery, customer pays return shipping. Warranty is three years on both. Thirty versus sixty days is not a rounding error.
Edge: Helio Cure on trial length. Warranty years are a tie. Return freight sits with the buyer on both sides.
A note on FDA
Every rectangular home panel here is FDA-registered, a listing not clearance. Vital prints FDA-Cleared language. No public K-number was found for these home panels. This page records the print and does not repeat uncleared-as-cleared.
Helio copy says FDA-registered as a Class II medical device. Registration is still a listing.
Edge: Draw. Both are FDA-registered home panels. Vital’s FDA-Cleared chrome and Helio’s Class II chrome are honesty flags, not clearance.
Pricing: live stickers, 1 September 2026

Vital has no 64-inch home panel. Blaze is the 64-inch answer. Nova is the 20.5-inch-wide flagship.
Edge: Helio Cure on sticker once a Vital Elite stand is added, on stand-in-SKU, and on every height above 37 inches. Vital on the only sub-$1,000 1060 nm panel in this pairing (Pro 2.0, $599) and on Elite 1.0 as a four-band $999 column. Budget the stand on Vital Elite. Do not invent a Helio or Vital discount code.
Who should choose Helio Cure
Best fit
Published 1064 nm density, no blue, 19-degree beam, stand already in the SKU
- Wants 19.44% at 1064 nm on Spark, Glow, or Nova (Blaze 16.7%), not a 1060 nm name with no published share.
- Wants no 480 nm blue, a 19-degree beam, and offline controls.
- Wants a 64.3-inch or 65-inch panel with the electric stand already in the live price.
- Accepts a Trustpilot sample of eight reviews and the 1 September 2026 Labor Day stickers (Spark $449 through Nova $4,999).
Who should choose Vital Red Light
A genuine niche, not a consolation prize
Nine named 2.0 bands, 1060 nm under $1,000, Trustpilot 4.8 from 83
- Want nine named wavelengths including 1060 nm on Pro 2.0 at $599, and accept unpublished LED share.
- Want Elite 2.0 at $1,499 plus a $199 bootstand, and will shift for height and for 8.5-inch width.
- Want a Pets preset, 480/590/670 nm named extras, and Trustpilot 4.8 from 83.
- Will pay return freight on a 30-day home trial and will read FDA-registered, not FDA-Cleared, for these panels.

The verdict
Published 1064 nm density, beam, height, stand-in-SKU, and trial length give Helio Cure the overall win. Nine named 2.0 bands, 1060 nm under $1,000, Pets, and Trustpilot give Vital the runner-up niche. This page does not average those rows into a tie. Density beats count. A $599 Pro 2.0 shopper is still shopping Vital on purpose.
🏆 Winner: Helio Cure
For 1064 nm buyers
Spark, Glow, and Nova put 19.44% at 1064 nm and 19.44% at 810 nm, skip blue, and use a 19-degree beam. Blaze is 64.3 inches at 16.7% 1064 nm for $2,499 with the stand in. Nova is $4,999. Glow is the only LightLab physical test, a limit not a secret. Trustpilot is 4.1 from 8. Blaze still lists single/dual.
🥈 Runner-up: Vital Red Light
For nine named bands and 1060 nm under $1,000
Pro 2.0 at $599 lists nine wavelengths including 1060 nm. Elite 2.0 at $1,499 is the nine-band 36.6-inch column. Pets, 590 nm, 670 nm, and 480 nm are named extras Helio refuses. Trustpilot 4.8 from 83 wins the reviews row. Share is unpublished. Stands stay extra on Elite. Trial is 30 days, home only.
Sessions with either mix may help a general wellness routine. Neither brand is treated as a market crown outside this pairing. RLT Home is a third catalog in the funnel, not the winner of Vital versus Helio Cure.

Can Helio’s 6-inch Glow figures be compared with Vital’s 12-inch Elite cell?
No. Peak with peak, average with average, distance with distance. LightLab tested Glow. Outliyr measured Elite 1.0 at 78.3 mW/cm² at 12 inches. Those are not one cell.
Is there a Vital or Helio discount code on this page?
No. Live manufacturer stickers only. Code TOP10 is 6% off RLT Home only, mentioned only in the funnel.
Bottom line
Helio Cure is the overall winner on published 19.44% at 1064 nm, a 19-degree beam, stand in the SKU, a 60-day trial, and 64-inch coverage (Spark $449 through Nova $4,999). Vital is the genuine runner-up: nine named 2.0 bands including 1060 nm on Pro 2.0 at $599, a 30-day home trial, and Trustpilot 4.8 from 83 against 4.1 from 8. Density beats count. 1060 nm is not 1064 nm. Both catalogs are FDA-registered, not cleared. Sessions may help a general wellness routine.
