BON CHARGE vs Vital: Which Red Light Therapy Brand Wins in 2026?
Medical review: articles are reviewed for scientific accuracy by our medical expert team. Wellness information, not a diagnosis. Sessions with either mix may help a general wellness routine. Home panels are FDA-registered, a listing not clearance. Neither brand is presented as treating disease.
BON CHARGE is 660/850 lifestyle hardware from Bullet $199 through Super Max $1,599. Vital is two chassis and two generations, with 1060 nm named on Pro 2.0 at $599. Winner from these two brands only. RLT Home is a funnel, not the scoreboard.
Winner summary · 660/850 lifestyle vs 1060 on Pro 2.0
Overall winner: Vital Red Light
These catalogs overlap on height, not on philosophy. Super Max is 35.5 x 11.8 inches with 300 dual-chip LEDs at $1,599. Elite and Elite 2.0 are 36.6 x 8.5 inches with 210 or 216 five-watt LEDs at $999 and $1,499. Both are tall home columns, not 64-inch lie-under planes.
BON CHARGE keeps Mini through Super Max on 660 and 850 nm, hangs Max and Super Max with a pulley kit, and surrounds the lights with glasses, masks, PEMF, and sauna. Vital splits 1.0 (630 / 660 / 830 / 850 nm) from 2.0 (nine named bands including 1060 nm on Pro 2.0 at $599). Density and chip configuration are unpublished on Vital. Outliyr measured one Elite 1.0 sample at 12 inches.
Prices are from boncharge.com/products.json and vitalredlight.com/products.json, pulled 1 September 2026. No coupon is invented. TOP10 6 percent is RLT Home only. Dual-chip on Demi, Max, and Super Max is a fact, not a smear.
At-a-glance verdict: Vital Red Light is the better fit for buyers who want 1060 nm on a $599 tabletop, a three-year warranty, and named 2.0 presets. BON CHARGE is the genuine runner-up for 660/850 density, a $199 torch, a door hang kit that actually ships in the Max / Super Max box, and Trustpilot volume.

Spectrum: two-band 660/850 versus nine named 2.0 bands
Density beats count. BON CHARGE Mini, Demi, Max, and Super Max emit 660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared. That is the mix, not a teaser list. Red, NIR, or both can be selected on the mains panels. Max lists 200 pieces at 660 nm and 200 pieces at 850 nm inside 200 dual-chip packages. Super Max prints the same two names on 300 dual-chip LEDs without a per-band count. Mini is 12 separate 3W LEDs on those two bands. Bullet is the exception: a 3-LED torch that also lists 630 nm. That diode does not migrate onto the panels.
Vital runs two recipes on two boxes. Pro and Elite tech specs list 630, 660, 830, and 850 nm. Outliyr’s Elite 1.0 trace reported those same four peaks. A Vital comparison table currently prints 810 nm instead of 830 nm for Pro and Elite; this page follows the tech spec and the independent trace. Pro 2.0 and Elite 2.0 name nine bands: 480, 590, 630, 660, 670, 810, 830, 850, and 1060 nm. That is 1060 nm, not 1064 nm. Density and chip configuration are unpublished. Nine names are not nine equal outputs.
Vital takes the spectrum-presence row because 480, 590, 670, 810, and 1060 nm land on Pro 2.0 at $599, the cheapest 1060 nm SKU here. BON CHARGE has no 810, 830, 1060, or 1064 nm on any live panel. Extra NIR slices mean Vital 2.0. Every diode on 660 and 850 means BON CHARGE.
| Wavelength | BON CHARGE panels | Vital 1.0 Pro / Elite | Vital 2.0 Pro / Elite |
|---|---|---|---|
| 480 nm blue | No | No | Named; share unpublished |
| 590 nm yellow | No | No | Named; share unpublished |
| 630 nm red | Bullet only | Yes; share unpublished | Named; share unpublished |
| 660 nm red | Yes; the red half of the mix | Yes; share unpublished | Named; share unpublished |
| 670 nm red | No | No | Named; share unpublished |
| 810 nm NIR | No | No on the tech spec | Named; share unpublished |
| 830 nm NIR | No | Yes; share unpublished | Named; share unpublished |
| 850 nm NIR | Yes; the NIR half of the mix | Yes; share unpublished | Named; share unpublished |
| 1060 nm deep NIR | No | No | Named; share unpublished |
Takeaway: Vital wins named-band count and 1060 nm on Pro 2.0 at $599. BON CHARGE wins 660/850 density because those two bands are the mix. Density beats count. Unpublished nine-band share is not treated as nine equal outputs.
Power and Irradiance: Measured by Independent Third Parties
Two measurement families show up around these catalogs. They are not interchangeable. Spectrometers are the accurate reference for LED sources. Solar power meters over-report. Peak compares with peak. Average compares with average. A figure with no distance is not a twelve-inch figure, and it should not be converted into one.
BON CHARGE, manufacturer claims. The live comparison table states Bullet >141 mW/cm², Mini >100, Demi >100, Max >142, and Super Max >162 mW/cm². No product card names the instrument or the distance. Setup copy then tells users to sit 3 to 12 inches away. Treat those headlines as brand-stated figures, not spectrometer averages. Electrical watts (Bullet 9 W through Super Max 1,500 W) are wall-plug numbers. Dual-chip 5W is a diode rating, not a six-inch irradiance.
Vital, manufacturer claims. Every home panel page prints 150 to 210 mW/cm² with no distance and no instrument. Treat that class of headline as solar-meter style until a spectrometer protocol is published. Do not put 150 to 210 next to BON CHARGE’s >162, and do not treat Charge and Elite 2.0 as the same dose because they share a range.
Vital, spectrometer. Outliyr measured a Vital Elite 1.0 sample with a Hopoocolor OHSP-350IR at 78.3 mW/cm² at 12 inches, peaks at 630, 660, 830, and 850 nm (certification N8XBRBPMP9). EMF: 0.4 mG at 6 inches, 12 mG on contact. Outliyr showed 192 LEDs; Vital lists 210. No public Outliyr cell is cited here for Pro, Pro 2.0, Elite 2.0, or any BON CHARGE SKU.
Vital session copy mixes 16 to 24 inches with 6 to 12 inch goal tables. BON CHARGE science copy uses about 10 minutes, 3 inches to 1 foot. Use the 12-inch Elite 1.0 cell for that sample only. Do not paste 78.3 onto Super Max. Peak-to-peak or average-to-average only.
| Model | Brand irradiance | Independent spectrometer | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| BON CHARGE Demi | >100 mW/cm², distance unstated | Not cited here | Do not convert into a 12-inch cell |
| BON CHARGE Max | >142 mW/cm², distance unstated | Not cited here | Same method gap |
| BON CHARGE Super Max | >162 mW/cm², distance unstated | Not cited here | Do not stack against Outliyr 78.3 |
| Vital Pro / Pro 2.0 | 150 to 210 mW/cm², distance unstated | Not cited here | Do not borrow the Elite 12-inch cell |
| Vital Elite | 150 to 210 mW/cm², distance unstated | Outliyr 78.3 mW/cm² at 12 in | Hopoocolor OHSP-350IR; 630/660/830/850 nm |
| Vital Elite 2.0 | 150 to 210 mW/cm², distance unstated | Not cited here | Do not paste the Elite 1.0 78.3 onto 2.0 |
Chips, dual-chip, and beam angle
BON CHARGE Demi, Max, and Super Max use 5W dual-chip LEDs. Dual-chip is a packaging fact: red and NIR in the same emitter. It is not a smear and not an irradiance proof. Mini uses 12 separate 3W LEDs. Bullet is a 3-LED torch. Beam angle is 30 degrees across the BON CHARGE line.
Vital lists 5W anti-flicker LEDs and a 30-degree beam. Chip configuration is not published, so it is not invented as single-chip or dual-chip. Pro uses two fans; Elite uses five. The 30-degree lens is a shared design choice, not a row either brand wins.
Vital 1.0 lists 50,000-hour LEDs; 2.0 lists 100,000. BON CHARGE cards used here do not print a matching hour figure. BON CHARGE flicker is listed as zero; EMF as 0.05 to 0.1 uT with no distance. Vital copy says “zero 0uT from treatment distance.” Outliyr measured 0.4 mG at 6 inches on Elite 1.0. Both figures are reported.
Coverage, lineup, and what “full body” actually means here
Neither brand sells a 64-inch lie-under chassis in the home line pulled 1 September 2026. Super Max at 35.5 inches and Elite at 36.6 inches are torso-and-thigh height in one stance. Width is Super Max’s upgrade: 11.8 inches versus Elite’s 8.5, with 300 dual-chip LEDs versus 210 or 216.

Max and Elite share $999. Max includes the pulley hang kit. Elite includes a wall / door kit; Bootstand is $99 extra. Super Max at $1,599 is wider than Elite 2.0 at $1,499, and cheaper than Elite 2.0 plus Bootstand 2.0 at $1,698. Vital floor options continue through FlexStand $499 and final-sale Stationary $995 / Full Motion $1,995. BON CHARGE has no live floor-stand SKU.
Modes, pulsing, and whether an app is a feature
BON CHARGE mains panels are manual: red, NIR, or both, plus a 5 to 30 minute timer. No app, no named preset, no published pulse range. That is a simpler panel, not a hidden spec.
Vital 1.0: 10-minute auto shutoff, red / NIR / both, no app. Vital 2.0: touchscreen, 20-minute default, and six presets labelled Fat Loss, Skin, Pets, Muscle, Sleep, and Joint Pain. Those are manufacturer labels. Skin is described as using 480 nm and 590 nm. The 2.0 app advertises 100-plus programs. Vital does not publish a Hertz table. None is invented here.
Vital 1.0 is the offline timer inside that catalog. BON CHARGE stays offline from Bullet through Super Max. Named presets go to Vital 2.0.
Takeaway: Vital 2.0 wins named presets and a companion app. BON CHARGE wins offline red / NIR / both. Neither Hertz range is invented. Preset names are not outcomes data. Sessions may help a general wellness routine.
In the box, stands, and door hooks
BON CHARGE live “What’s Included” lists, pulled 1 September 2026:
- Bullet: torch, USB cable, spare battery. Goggles for the Bullet, if wanted, are a $19.99 accessory.
- Mini: device, USB charger, travel case, goggles. Mini Stand $50 extra.
- Demi: device, power cord, protective goggles. No door kit.
- Max: device, power cord, two braided steel cables, threaded posts, protective goggles, height-adjusting pulley, door mount.
- Super Max: same hanging kit as Max, plus the 31 lb panel, power cord, and goggles.
Vital live box lists:
- Vital Pro: panel with tabletop stand installed, power cable, protective eyewear, red light guide.
- Vital Pro 2.0: panel with tabletop stand, power cable, basic remote, protective eyewear, red light guide. Full Vital Remote is a $199 add-on.
- Vital Elite: panel, power cable, protective eyewear, red light guide, wall-hanging kit and door mount. Bootstand is $99 extra.
- Vital Elite 2.0: panel, power cable, basic remote, protective eyewear, red light guide. Bootstand 2.0, FlexStand, and the $199 remote are add-ons.
- Vital Charge: handheld and charging hardware as listed on that page.
Eyewear is in both brands’ home-panel boxes. Do not invent a goggles gap. The hang-kit row still goes to BON CHARGE Max and Super Max because pulley, cables, and door mount ship together. Vital Elite has a wall / door kit; Elite 2.0 does not include a bootstand. Vital Pro wins tabletop-stand-in-box against Demi. S/Max hanging accessories $29.99; US plug $14.99.
BON CHARGE states free shipping over $125. Vital states free shipping worldwide from Boca Raton, FL, typically within 24 hours. Neither claim is invented as a flaw in the other.
User reviews: Trustpilot, 1 September 2026
Independent Trustpilot listings only. On-site star widgets are not mixed in. BON CHARGE still uses the former BluBlox domain. Vital product pages advertise 4.9 / 5 from 1,012-plus shop reviews, a different dataset, ignored here.
BON CHARGE · Trustpilot
4.4 / 5
1,510 reviews is a large sample of the whole catalog (glasses, sauna, PEMF, masks, and panels), not Super Max buyers only. Public themes mix product praise with support and hardware complaints. It is not a panel-only grade.
Vital Red Light · Trustpilot
4.8 / 5
Eighty-three reviews is usable and still small next to 1,510. A 4.8 average can move. Individual reviews are opinions, not outcomes data.
Takeaway: The reviews row is split on purpose. Vital wins the score (4.8 vs 4.4). BON CHARGE wins the sample (1,510 vs 83). Neither on-site star widget is mixed in. RLT Home is not awarded this row because RLT Home is not in the fight.
Trial, warranty, and what 30 days actually costs
Both brands advertise 30 days. Neither pays return freight on a change-of-mind return, and neither states a restocking fee in the copy used here. BON CHARGE pays return shipping if the unit is faulty. Vital home units only; commercial SKUs and final-sale stands are out. A 31 lb Super Max or 15 lb Elite coming back is freight the buyer funds.
Warranty is the clean split. BON CHARGE: one year on red light devices, plus lifetime technical support as stated. Vital home-panel pages: three years. A homepage “2 Year Warranty” badge in the 1 September 2026 fetch is treated as stale chrome. Vital FAQ still has the customer pay warranty return shipping. Three years versus one year is the published term, not an invented weakness.
HSA/FSA checkout is listed on both live sites (Vital with a letter of medical necessity). That is a checkout path, not a clinical indication.
FDA-registered, not cleared, for these home panels
BON CHARGE FAQs say the devices are registered with the FDA, and that the FDA has not evaluated the marketing statements. Registration is a listing, not clearance and not approval.
Vital prints “FDA-Cleared Technology” and “Class II Medical Device,” with a footnote pointing at 510(k) documentation. This comparison found no public K-number. Home panels here are FDA-registered listings, not cleared treatments. Outliyr’s Elite 1.0 cell is a spectrometer measurement, not a clearance.
BON CHARGE takes the FDA-language row because the live FAQ describes a registration. Vital’s clearance wording is not treated as a K-number. Sessions with either mix may help a general wellness routine. Do not stare into the array.

Who should buy BON CHARGE
A genuine niche, not a consolation prize
660/850 density, $199 Bullet, door hang kit, lifestyle catalog
- Want 660 nm plus 850 nm on purpose, not 810, 830, or 1060 nm on a panel.
- Want a $199 Bullet or $299 Mini as the purchase, or as travel next to a panel.
- Want Max or Super Max to hang on a door with pulley, cables, and mount in the box.
- Want Super Max’s 11.8-inch width and 300 dual-chip LEDs rather than Elite’s 8.5-inch column.
- Want glasses, masks, PEMF, and sauna in the same checkout, plus offline red / NIR / both controls.
- Accept a 30-day trial with paid return shipping, a 1-year warranty, and Trustpilot 4.4 from 1,510 as a catalog-wide sample.

The verdict
Named 1060 nm on Pro 2.0 at $599, nine 2.0 bands, a three-year warranty, Pro $399 versus Demi $699, and Outliyr’s Elite cell give Vital the overall win. 660/850 density, Bullet $199, the Max / Super Max hang kit, the lifestyle catalog, and Trustpilot 1,510 give BON CHARGE the runner-up niche. Density beats count. Dual-chip is a fact. RLT Home is only in the funnel.

Frequently asked questions
Does BON CHARGE use 1060 nm or 1064 nm?
Not on Mini, Demi, Max, or Super Max. Those stay on 660 and 850 nm. Bullet lists 630, 660, and 850 nm. Vital 2.0 lists 1060 nm, not 1064 nm, with unpublished share.
Which brand wins this page?
Vital overall: 1060 nm on Pro 2.0, nine 2.0 bands, three-year warranty, Pro $399 versus Demi $699, Outliyr Elite 1.0. BON CHARGE is the runner-up for 660/850 density, Bullet $199, hang kit, ecosystem, and Trustpilot sample. No third-brand crown.
Are these FDA-cleared medical-grade panels?
No. Home panels here are FDA-registered, a listing not clearance. BON CHARGE describes registration. Vital prints “FDA-Cleared Technology” without a public K-number found here. Do not stare into the array.
What is the live Trustpilot score for each brand?
BON CHARGE 4.4 / 5 from 1,510 as blublox.com. Vital 4.8 / 5 from 83. Checked 1 September 2026. Score to Vital, sample to BON CHARGE. On-site stars not mixed in.
Can BON CHARGE’s >162 mW/cm² be compared with Outliyr’s 78.3?
No. BON CHARGE names no instrument and no distance. Outliyr tested Elite 1.0 at 12 inches. Vital’s 150 to 210 range is the same kind of unstated-method headline. Those are not one cell.
Is there a BON CHARGE or Vital discount code on this page?
No. Live manufacturer stickers only. Code TOP10 is 6 percent off RLT Home only, in the funnel: RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI $495 (TOP10 $465) through ELITE $4,495 ($4,225).
Is dual-chip a problem on BON CHARGE?
No. Dual-chip 5W on Demi, Max, and Super Max is a packaging fact, not a smear. Vital’s chip configuration is unpublished, so it is not invented.
Bottom line
Vital wins on 1060 nm on Pro 2.0 at $599, nine 2.0 bands, a three-year warranty, Pro $399 versus Demi $699, and Outliyr 78.3 mW/cm² at 12 inches. BON CHARGE is the runner-up: 660/850 density, Bullet $199 through Super Max $1,599, hang kit in the box, lifestyle catalog, Trustpilot 4.4 from 1,510. Density beats count. Dual-chip is a fact. Home panels are FDA-registered, not cleared. Sessions may help a general wellness routine. RLT Home is only in the funnel.
