Vellgus Red Light Therapy Review (2026)

Vellgus wordmark from the live manufacturer CDN (vellgus.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Logo-Vellgus-LED-black.png). Single-brand hero, not a versus lockup. Hang-panel photos sit in the sections below.

Medical review: All articles on Red Light Therapy Top 10 are reviewed for scientific accuracy and evidence-based relevance by our medical expert team. This page is wellness information, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. Red light sessions may help recovery-oriented and general wellness routines. They are not presented here as a treatment for any named disease.

Vellgus (vellgus.com, USA and Canada distribution, around 2019) sells a modular Black Series of hang panels: Vellgus Mini, Vellgus Elite V2, Vellgus Pro, and Vellgus Max 300. The hang line is Multiwave+ 5W arrays, Pulsing+ and Dimming+ on the larger panels, door-hook shipping as the default, and an HSA header badge with Buy Now, Pay Later Eligible copy. This review stays on that hang catalog. Extra SKUs (original Elite, Pro V2, Reviv Pro, infrared sauna blanket) sit in the same shop and are named as catalog, not scored. It is not a versus page and does not crown a market ranking. Vellgus Elite V2 is not an RLT Home Total Spectrum name. Vellgus Mini is not an RLT Home Total Spectrum name. Vellgus Max 300 is not an RLT Home Total Spectrum name. Those prefixes appear only in the end funnel.

Vellgus Red Light is a USA and Canada hang-panel shop at vellgus.com. Support sits at info@vellgus.com. Sessions with red and near-infrared light may help people who already want a door-hang or tabletop-distance routine. They do not turn a hang array into a clinic laser. They do not add a named spectrometer model. They do not create an FDA clearance file.

Live prices, 1 September 2026, USD as printed on vellgus.com WooCommerce variations and shop-lights. Vellgus Mini $339, shop-lights marked sold out, product page offers pre-order. Vellgus Elite V2 $549 (compare-at $649), Built-In Stand + Door Hook, in stock (variation listed 3 units). Vellgus Pro: door hook $849, floor stand $949, flex mobile stand $1,119. Shop-lights marked Pro sold out; the product page still listed those three configurations in stock (door 3, floor 2, flex 6). Vellgus Max 300: door hook $1,149 (compare-at $1,299), floor stand $1,349, flex mobile stand $1,499, in stock. Black Series is still live on the homepage. Free USA and Canada shipping is advertised. No Vellgus percent-off code is used here.

The Black Series hang lineup

Start with the physical objects still live on vellgus.com/shop-lights/ this morning. Mini is a 3.74 x 1.18 x 5.9 inch portable. Elite V2 is a 10.23 x 7.87 x 2.5 inch half-body hang / table panel. Pro is 20 x 8.2 x 2.5 inches. Max 300 is 36.2 x 11.8 x 2.5 inches. Connecting more hang panels increases coverage area. It does not raise the irradiance on one spot. A 20-inch Pro is a torso patch, not adult full-height. A 36-inch Max 300 is a tall hang panel, still short of a 64-inch lie-under.

Vellgus Elite V2 60 LED Multiwave+ hang panel, manufacturer photo
Vellgus Elite V2. Manufacturer CDN photo, live 1 September 2026. 60 x 5W LEDs, Multiwave+ 480 / 630 / 660 / 810 / 830 / 850 nm. Live price $549 with built-in table stand plus door hook. Not an RLT Home Total Spectrum name.

Elite V2 is the 6-band hang SKU, including 480 nm blue. That 480 nm band is a real catalog fact on the live Elite V2 page. LED share per band is unpublished, so this page does not invent a split. Pro and Max 300 drop 480 nm and list five peaks. Mini is a two-band portable. None of those four hang SKUs list 1064 nm.

The rest of the Vellgus cart, named as catalog

The same shop-lights grid this morning also lists original Vellgus Elite (on sale), Vellgus Pro V2 (shop range $899 to $1,199), Reviv Pro, and an infrared sauna blanket (sold out). Those extras are a different SKU set. They are not size clones of the four hang panels in the table above, and they are not used here to mark the Black Series down. This review does not score them.

Fit note: A buyer who wants the original Elite, Pro V2, Reviv Pro, or the blanket can stay inside this catalog later. A buyer who opened this page for the current Black Series hang stack should stay on Mini, Elite V2, Pro, and Max 300 unless they actually want those other formats.

Spectrum: Multiwave+ counts, unpublished share

Wavelength count is not wavelength density. Vellgus Elite V2 lists six peaks. Pro and Max 300 list five. Mini lists two. The brand does not publish how many diodes sit on each peak. Treat the split as unpublished. Six bands is a catalog count, not automatically more spectrum. Sessions with 660 nm may help surface-oriented routines. Sessions with 810 nm or 850 nm may help recovery-oriented routines. Buyers who want a published 1064 nm slice will not find it on these hang SKUs.

Fit note: A 6-band Elite V2 including 480 nm is the reason some people open this catalog. Unpublished LED share is the remaining paperwork gap. Do not treat six listed peaks as a density win, and do not treat unpublished share as a smear of the mix that is printed.

Power and Irradiance: Measured by Independent Third Parties

Solar power meters over-report LED output. Spectrometers are the accurate reference. Peak compares with peak. Average compares with average. A figure with no distance is not a 6-inch figure. An unnamed-instrument brand claim is not a third-party spectrometer figure. Those jobs stay in separate rows on this page.

Spectrometer column: unpublished

Vellgus does not publish a third-party spectrometer reading for Mini, Elite V2, Pro, or Max 300. The live product pages state irradiance as a greater-than number. They do not name the instrument, the lab, a peak, an average, or a distance. Independent spectrometer output for this line is unpublished. This review will not fill the gap with a guessed meter brand, and it will not invent a 6-inch Vellgus figure.

Brand-stated >245 / >219 (not mixed with the spectrometer column)

Vellgus Mini states irradiance >219 mW/cm². Vellgus Elite V2, Pro, and Max 300 state irradiance >245 mW/cm². Distance is unstated. The instrument is unnamed. Those claims stay in this row. They are not converted into a six-inch spectrometer peak, and they are not stacked against solar-meter headlines from other shops.

The how-it-works page also shows a graphic that reads 120-190 mW/cm² as “Our Irradiance” next to 100 mW/cm² as “Competitor’s Irradiance.” That graphic is a second brand-stated figure, still unnamed as to method and distance. It is not the same number as the >245 product-page claim. This page reports both. It does not treat the gap as proof that anyone is lying. Unpublished distance and an unnamed instrument are the accurate labels.

The same how-it-works block says high irradiance means faster dosage and “only 5-15 minutes of exposure.” Treat that as brand session copy, not a third-party fluence table.

Vellgus Max 300 300 LED hang panel, manufacturer photo
Vellgus Max 300. Manufacturer CDN. 36.2 x 11.8 inches, 300 LEDs, Multiwave+ 630 / 660 / 810 / 830 / 850 nm. Brand-stated irradiance >245 mW/cm², distance unstated, method unnamed. Door-hook live price $1,149. Not an RLT Home Total Spectrum name.

EMF is a third, separate claim. Vellgus states “EMF Emission is 0.00 at 4 inches” on Mini, Elite V2, Pro, and Max 300. Method unnamed. That row is not mixed with irradiance.

Fit note: The hang-panel catalog claim of >245 / >219 is marketing copy with unpublished distance. Unnamed method is the paperwork gap. Do not “fix” >245 by comparing it to a solar-meter headline from another brand, and do not treat the missing spectrometer as a smear of the hang format.

LED chips and beam angle

Dual / multi-chip 5W is a catalog fact for this line. Live 1 September product pages print quantity as Nx5W: Mini 15 x 5W, Elite V2 60 x 5W, Pro 120 x 5W. Max 300’s live page says “300 pcs” rather than “300 x 5W.” How-it-works contrasts 5W “Our Chips” with 2W “Competitor’s Chips.” This page records 5W as live catalog copy and dual / multi-chip as the stored catalog architecture. It is not a smear.

Single-chip versus multi-chip is packaging. Multi-chip splits power across wavelengths in one package. Surface evenness is the usual multi-chip counter-claim. Neither construction is called fake here. What the buyer actually gets is a hang array with printed 5W counts and no named chip vendor on the live spec blocks.

The live Black Series comparison table on vellgus.com still lists Lens Beam Angle as 30 degrees and 60 degrees for the hang line. Mixed 30 and 60 degree lenses are therefore a live homepage fact, not a guessed number.

Modes, timer, and Mini’s portable extras

Vellgus Elite V2, Pro, and Max 300 list Pulsing+ and Dimming+ on the live product pages, plus a timer, a digital Smart Screen, and a remote. Elite V2 lists one cooling fan. Pro lists two. There is no companion app on the live hang pages. Devices stay simple on purpose.

Vellgus Mini is the portable exception. Live copy lists a 10-minute timer, dual power (battery and USB), a claimed charge of over 2.5 hours, and a cool-down cycle: 10 minutes on, then 10 minutes cool-down. Mini ships in a black cloth bag with a Type-C USB cable. Mini does not list Pulsing+ in that core-features block.

There is no personalised weekly plan written after purchase. The user guide and the on-page treatment-guidelines link are the protocol. That is enough for a hang panel with Pulsing+ and Dimming+. It is not a nine-preset touchscreen.

What’s in the box

Live What’s Included, 1 September 2026:

  • Vellgus Elite V2: panel, integrated table stand, door hook, wire rope, lift rope, 1.5 m cable, goggles, user manual, remote.
  • Vellgus Pro: panel, lift rope, cable, goggles, door hook, remote, wire rope, manual. Floor stand and flex mobile stand are configuration add-ons, not the default hang kit.
  • Vellgus Max 300: panel, 1.5 m cable, manual, “Stand / Flex Stand as extra add on,” door hook, wire rope, lift rope, goggles, remote.
  • Vellgus Mini: panel, black cloth bag, Type-C USB cable, user manual. Mini does not list goggles in that block.

No floor stand by default on Pro or Max 300. Those SKUs ship with a door hook, wire rope, and lift rope. Floor stand and flex mobile stand are paid add-on configurations at purchase. Elite V2 is the exception: the live configuration is Built-In Stand + Door Hook at $549, and the box list includes the integrated table stand.

Vellgus Mini 15 LED dual-band portable red light panel, manufacturer photo
Vellgus Mini. Manufacturer CDN. 15 x 5W, 660 nm and 850 nm, 3.74 x 5.9 inch portable with battery and USB. Live $339, shop sold out, product page pre-order. 1-year warranty. Not an RLT Home Total Spectrum name.
Vellgus Pro 120 LED hang panel, manufacturer photo
Vellgus Pro. Manufacturer CDN. 120 x 5W, 20 x 8.2 inches, Multiwave+ 630 / 660 / 810 / 830 / 850 nm. Door hook $849, floor stand $949, flex mobile $1,119. Shop-lights marked sold out this morning; the product page still listed configurations in stock.

How buying works: shipping, HSA badge, and geography

Live product pages advertise free shipping for USA and Canada. The header still shows a Buy Now, Pay Later Eligible line and an HSA badge image. This page records those live badges. It does not invent a Flex widget path that the hang pages do not print, and it does not treat the HSA image as a coupon.

The return-policy note says Vellgus does not ship to P.O. Boxes or forwarding addresses. Orders placed to those addresses can be cancelled with a refund minus Stripe processing fees. That is live policy copy, not a smear.

Trial, returns, and warranty

Two clocks. The trial is 30 days on vellgus.com/return-policy, confirmed 1 September 2026. The warranty is 3 years on Elite V2, Pro, and Max 300 live pages, and 1 year on the Mini live page. The homepage says coverage up to 3 years. This review reports the Mini 1-year line as written rather than rounding Mini up to 3 years.

Return process: contact info@vellgus.com within 30 days. Do not ship a return without that contact. Items must come back like-new in original packaging. Return shipping is at the customer. Any returned shipment incurs a 20% restocking fee on the original purchase price, and shipping fees are non-refundable. A note on the same page applies that 20% restocking fee to all orders placed on or after 20 February 2023 that are cancelled or returned. Sale items and stands are final and not eligible for elective returns.

Refused, undeliverable, or returned-to-warehouse shipments inside Canada and the USA incur a flat $50 fee per carton plus the 20% restocking. Buyer has ten days after delivery to report shipping damage. Warranty is original-purchaser only, non-transferable, and does not cover drop, misuse, or opening the light without authorization.

Thirty days and 20% restocking is a real term. It is not an insult. Buyers who want prepaid return labels and no restocking are looking at a different policy.

A note on FDA

Live Vellgus product pages (Mini, Elite V2, Pro, Max 300, 1 September 2026) say “FDA Registered Class II Medical Device” and “Manufactured in our FDA registered facility, Vellgus Red Light devices are FDA listed Class II devices.” That is a registration / device listing. It is not FDA 510(k) clearance. An openFDA 510(k) search for applicant or device_name Vellgus returned empty (HTTP 404) at write time. This page does not invent a K-number.

The how-it-works page still uses a heading that reads “FDA Cleared Technology.” That heading is misleading. Registration is not clearance. The older marketing line “cleared for home use” was not found on the homepage or the four hang-panel product pages pulled this morning. The live leftover is the “FDA Cleared Technology” heading, and it is still the wrong legal class.

Registration is paperwork that a device is listed. It is not a clinical approval to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. “Class II” on a hang-panel marketing block does not make the panel a cleared medical device. ETL Intertek is an electrical-safety mark. It is not an FDA clearance either.

Sessions may help recovery-oriented or general wellness routines. They are not prescribed as therapy for a named condition on this page.

Fit note: Honest “FDA registered / listed Class II, not cleared” language is the right class for this hang line. Shoppers who need a 510(k) will not find one invented here. Shoppers who need any listing at all can read the registered Class II line on the live spec block, and should still read the misleading “FDA Cleared Technology” heading on how-it-works next to it.

User reviews: Trustpilot, 1 September 2026

Public reviews on this page are scored from independent Trustpilot listings, not from manufacturer star widgets. On-site shop ratings and homepage star blocks are a different dataset and are not mixed in. Vellgus hosts customer reviews on its own product pages (for example Elite V2 shows an on-site review count). Those stars stay off this section. Amazon stars are not Trustpilot.

Trustpilot · 1 September 2026

No listing

No independent Trustpilot page for vellgus.com was found this morning.

www.trustpilot.com/review/vellgus.com returned HTTP 403 (CloudFront). uk.trustpilot.com/review/vellgus.com returned HTTP 403. A web search for a public Vellgus Trustpilot listing found none. A Trustpilot hit for vellius.com is a different company and is not mixed in. Sample: none on Trustpilot. This is not a winner badge.

Thin is the honest word. A missing independent listing is not a smear, and it is not a score. On-site stars stay off this row. Do not borrow shop-page ratings to grow a sample that is not there.

Who Vellgus actually fits

A reasonable first stop

When this hang catalog is the right conversation

  • Want a modular Black Series hang stack (Mini, Elite V2, Pro, Max 300) rather than a floor-standing body wall.
  • Want Vellgus Elite V2’s 6-band Multiwave+ mix including 480 nm, with Pulsing+ and Dimming+, at $549 with a table stand in the box.
  • Want a $339 portable Mini with battery and USB, or a door-hook Pro / Max 300 you can add a floor or flex stand to later.
  • Want mixed 30 and 60 degree lenses on the live Black Series table, goggles in the hang-panel box, and free USA / Canada outbound shipping.
  • Want dual / multi-chip 5W as a catalog fact, and can live with unpublished LED share.
  • Accept a 30-day trial with 20% restocking after February 2023, and accept that Mini’s live warranty is 1 year.

Look at the 16-brand table instead

When this catalog is the wrong first stop

  • Need a named spectrometer model at six inches. Vellgus states >245 / >219 with distance unstated and the instrument unnamed.
  • Need a published 1064 nm slice, or published LED share per band.
  • Need a 49-inch or 64-inch single hang panel. Max 300 stops at 36.2 inches.
  • Need a floor stand in the default box on Pro or Max 300. Those stands are paid configurations.
  • Need a large independent review sample. Trustpilot has no vellgus.com listing as of 1 September 2026.
  • Need original outbound shipping refunded, or a restocking-free 60-day window. Sale items and stands are final.
  • Need an FDA clearance or a 510(k). Registration / listed Class II is what the live pages print. The “FDA Cleared Technology” heading is misleading.
  • Need Mini in stock today. Shop-lights marked it sold out; the product page is pre-order.

Close hang-panel rivals belong on a versus URL when that URL is actually live, and on the 16-brand table, not under a crown on this review.

This review stays on one catalog. Head-to-heads live elsewhere. The Vellgus versus RLT Home URL is planned on this site and currently 404s in WordPress, so it is not claimed as a live article. No Vellgus-versus-versus pages are live on redlighttherapytop10.com as of 1 September 2026. This review does not invent those slugs.

Frequently asked questions

Is Vellgus more powerful because it claims >245 mW/cm²?

Do not mix meters. Vellgus states >245 mW/cm² on Elite V2, Pro, and Max 300, and >219 mW/cm² on Mini, with distance unstated and the instrument unnamed. Independent spectrometer output for this hang line is unpublished. This page does not invent a 6-inch Vellgus number. The how-it-works 120-190 mW/cm² graphic is a second brand-stated figure, still unnamed as to method, and is not mixed into the spectrometer column.

Is this a dual-chip / multi-chip 5W line?

Yes as a catalog fact. Dual / multi-chip 5W is the stored architecture. Live pages print Mini 15 x 5W, Elite V2 60 x 5W, Pro 120 x 5W, and Max 300 as 300 pcs. Chip package is not used as a quality smear.

Does a stand come in the box?

Not by default on Pro or Max 300. Those SKUs ship with a door hook, wire rope, and lift rope. Floor stand and flex mobile stand are paid configurations (Pro $949 / $1,119, Max 300 $1,349 / $1,499). Elite V2’s live configuration includes a built-in table stand plus a door hook at $549. Mini has no stand.

How does the 30-day trial actually work?

Written return policy: email info@vellgus.com within 30 days. Do not ship first. Customer pays return freight. 20% restocking on orders placed on or after 20 February 2023. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Sale items and stands are final. Warranty is a separate path: 3 years on Elite V2, Pro, and Max 300; 1 year on Mini.

Is Vellgus FDA-cleared or FDA-registered?

Registered / listed Class II, not cleared. Live hang pages say FDA registered / listed Class II. The how-it-works heading “FDA Cleared Technology” is misleading. An openFDA 510(k) search for Vellgus was empty at write time. This page does not invent a K-number.

Is Vellgus Elite V2 the same as an RLT Home Total Spectrum ELITE?

No. Vellgus Elite V2 is a 10.23 x 7.87 inch, 60 LED, 6-band hang panel at $549. Names collide. Products do not. Vellgus Mini is not an RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI. Vellgus Max 300 is not an RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX. Those RLT Home names appear only in the end funnel of this review, always prefixed.

What do public user reviews say?

Independent Trustpilot, not the shop widget: no listing for vellgus.com was found on 1 September 2026. Not a winner badge. On-site product stars are not mixed into that empty sample.

Is there a Vellgus discount code on this page?

No. Live 1 September 2026 stickers are manufacturer USD. No Vellgus coupon is invented here. TOP10 6% applies to RLT Home live prices only, in the funnel at the end of this page.

Is Mini actually available?

Shop-lights marked Mini sold out this morning. The product page still shows $339 with a pre-order button. Treat it as sold out / pre-order, not as an in-stock ship-today SKU.

Is the Black Series still the live hang line?

Yes. The homepage still has a Vellgus Black Series block and a Shop Vellgus Black Series button, with mixed 30 degree and 60 degree lenses in the comparison table, pulled 1 September 2026.

Where should shoppers go for a Vellgus versus RLT Home comparison?

The slug /vellgus-vs-rlt-home/ is planned and currently a WordPress 404. No Vellgus-versus-versus URLs are live on this site as of 1 September 2026, and none are invented here. For a wider field, use the 16-brand ranking CTAs on this page.

If the fit is a seven-band full-body panel instead

RLT Home sits at the end of this review on purpose. It is not mixed through the Vellgus spec sections and it is not awarded a crown here. Shoppers who wanted an in-stock 49-inch or 64-inch chassis, a seven-band mix (480, 630, 660, 810, 830, 850, 1064 nm), nine named modes, and a personalised weekly plan are looking at a different product. Live 1 September 2026 prices from redlighttherapyhome.com/products.json: RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI $495 (TOP10 $465), RLT Home Total Spectrum COMPACT $995 ($935), RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX $1,595 ($1,499), RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA $2,595 ($2,439), RLT Home Total Spectrum ELITE $4,495 ($4,225). TOP10 is 6% off current RLT Home stickers only, nearest dollar. No Vellgus code is invented.

RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX seven-band red light therapy panel
RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX, one of the in-stock seven-band panels, shown only in this end funnel. Manufacturer CDN photo. Live price $1,595 (TOP10 $1,499). Not a ranking of Vellgus. Not Vellgus Max 300.

RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI is the 72-LED tabletop. RLT Home Total Spectrum COMPACT is the 216-LED mid panel. RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX is the 360-LED, 49.2-inch panel. RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA is the 480-LED, 64.3-inch lie-under panel. RLT Home Total Spectrum ELITE is the 864-LED, 65 by 20.5-inch flagship. Use the ranking board, and use the planned Vellgus versus RLT Home slug when that page is actually live.

RLT Home only

TOP10 is 6% off the current RLT Home live price, nearest dollar. It does not apply to Vellgus. Vellgus stickers on this page are manufacturer USD with no invented code.

Bottom line

Vellgus in 2026 is a USA / Canada hang-panel catalog with a still-live Black Series: Mini $339 sold out / pre-order, Elite V2 $549 with a table stand, Pro door $849 / floor $949 / flex $1,119, Max 300 door $1,149 / floor $1,349 / flex $1,499. Dual / multi-chip 5W is a catalog fact. Elite V2 is 6-band Multiwave+ including 480 nm. Pro and Max 300 are 5-band. Mini is 660 / 850. Brand irradiance is >245 / >219 with distance unstated and method unnamed. Spectrometer unpublished. No 6-inch figure invented here. Door hook by default, floor / flex paid, Elite V2 the table-stand exception. Three-year warranty on the larger hang panels, 1 year on Mini, 30-day trial, 20% restocking after February 2023. FDA registered / listed Class II, not cleared. The “FDA Cleared Technology” heading is still live and still misleading. Trustpilot: no listing found on 1 September 2026. Enough to judge fit. Not a market crown.

Vellgus is FDA-registered / listed Class II, not FDA-cleared. Registration is a listing, not clearance, and Vellgus is not presented here as treating disease. No 510(k) number is printed on the live hang pages pulled for this review, and none is invented here.

Prices pulled 1 September 2026 from vellgus.com WooCommerce product pages (Mini, Elite V2, Pro, Max 300), shop-lights, and redlighttherapyhome.com/products.json. Return language checked against vellgus.com/return-policy the same day. FDA stance checked against live hang pages, vellgus.com/how-it-works (“FDA Cleared Technology” heading still live), and an empty openFDA 510(k) search. Trustpilot checked the same morning; no vellgus.com listing found. No Vellgus discount code. TOP10 6% is RLT Home only. Product photos and the logo are manufacturer CDN images. Red Light Therapy Top 10 may earn a commission from qualifying purchases. That does not change the specs or live prices cited here.
