Red Light Man Red Light Therapy Review (2026)

Red Light Man wordmark from the live manufacturer CDN (redlightman.com/wp-content/uploads). Single-brand hero, not a versus lockup. Combo Light and Combo Bodylight 2.0 photos sit in the sections below.

Medical review: All articles on Red Light Therapy Top 10 are reviewed for scientific accuracy and evidence-based relevance by our medical expert team. This page is wellness information, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. Sessions with red or near-infrared light may help recovery-oriented and general wellness routines. They are not presented here as a treatment for any named disease.

Red Light Man (redlightman.com) is a Manchester, UK family shop that has sold targeted red and near-infrared devices since late 2014. This review stays on that catalog: the 12 x 12 x 16 cm Red-Infrared Combo Light, the 115 cm Combo Bodylight 2.0, and the red-only and infrared-only cubes. Combo Light and Combo Bodylight 2.0 both run 620, 670, 760, and 830 nm at 25 percent each. That is a real mix. It is not a versus page, and it does not crown a market ranking. It is also not Red Therapy Co, not Recover Red, and not Red Light Rising. Those are different companies.

Red Light Man Ltd ships from the UK. The about page dates the site to late 2014. The UK page names Manchester. Support is a small family shop, not a US panel mill. Sessions with 670 nm or 830 nm may help people who already want those peaks in a hangable cube or a narrow full-height strip. They do not turn a 12 cm COB array into a clinic laser. They do not add a named spectrometer model. They do not create a US FDA file that the live pages do not print.

Live prices, 1 September 2026, USD Ex. VAT as printed on redlightman.com product pages. Red-Infrared Combo Light $275. Combo Bodylight 2.0 $799. Red Light Device $310 (compare-at $372, 17% off on the live badge). Infrared Light Device $310. Terms on redlightman.com/terms-conditions/ say UK addresses are charged in GBP with VAT included, and other currencies are bank or PayPal conversions. The pages pulled this morning published USD Ex. VAT, so this review quotes those figures and does not invent a GBP checkout. No Red Light Man discount code is used here.

The lineup this review actually covers

Four hardware SKUs matter for a hang-or-tabletop buyer. Combo Light is the 12 cm cube. Combo Bodylight 2.0 is the 115 cm hang strip. Red Light Device is the red-only cube. Infrared Light Device is the infrared-only cube. Pads, minis, and the 830 Bodylight sit in the same cart and are named as catalog later, not as smears of the four units above.

Red-Infrared Combo Light

Start with the physical object. The live spec block lists 12 x 12 x 16 cm and 1.4 kg. Forty-two infrared and red LEDs sit in a COB (chip-on-board) array. Power rating 126W, consumption 60 watts, beam angle 40 degrees. The brand says it can cover a circular area up to 50 cm (20 inches) in diameter, and that it can be used from a distance of up to 60 cm. That is a targeted cube, not a torso-height chassis. Coverage is a face, a joint, or a small patch. Buyers who need to light a whole back in one stance are shopping a different form factor, or they are looking at Combo Bodylight 2.0.

Combo Bodylight 2.0

Combo Bodylight 2.0 is the tall SKU. Live spec: 115 x 17 x 7 cm, 8 kg, 200 high power LEDs, 30-degree beam, power rating 600W, consumption 300 watts. The brand calls it full body, head to toe, door or wall mounted, hangable, stand alone. Height is in the same neighbourhood as a mid panel. Width is 17 cm. A 6.7-inch strip can cover height. It cannot clone an 11.8-inch-class panel width. That is a catalog fact, not an invented weakness.

Wavelength mix matches the Combo Light: 620 / 670 / 760 / 830 nm at 25 percent each. The live page does not name COB. Construction for this SKU stays unpublished beyond “high power LEDs.” This review will not paste the cube COB label onto the strip.

Red Light Device and Infrared Light Device

These two 20 x 20 x 9 cm cubes are separate recipes, not the four-band combo mix. Red Light Device: 66 LEDs in a large central COB surrounded by mini-COBs, 610 nm 25%, 630 nm 25%, 670 nm 50%, beam 35 degrees, 1.8 kg. Brand-stated 200 mW/cm² at 8 cm and 20 mW/cm² at 42 cm. Live price $310 Ex. VAT (compare-at $372). Infrared Light Device is the infrared twin: 760 nm 50% and 830 nm 50%, brand-stated 200 mW/cm² at 10 cm, same $310 sticker class. Both list a hanging/mounting kit. Neither lists goggles.

The rest of the cart, named as catalog

Red Light Man is not a four-SKU shop. The same 1 September 2026 storefront also lists Combo Mini at $159, red and infrared minis at $159, a Mini Bundle at $299, Infrared Bodylight 830 at $799, and Combo Padlight wearables (Combo Padlight $375, Combo Padlight Pro $999, Combo Padlight Pro Duo $1,649, all Ex. VAT as displayed). Those SKUs are a different form factor. They are not a second Combo Light size, and they are not used here to mark the cube or the Bodylight strip down. This review does not score them.

Fit note: A buyer who wants a pad or a mini can stay inside this catalog later. A buyer who opened this page for a hang cube or a 115 cm strip should stay on Combo Light or Combo Bodylight 2.0 unless they actually want those other formats.

Spectrum: four peaks at equal share

Combo Light and Combo Bodylight 2.0 put the whole array on four peaks at equal share: 620 nm 25%, 670 nm 25%, 760 nm 25%, 830 nm 25%. That is a density choice. Buyers who want orange-red, deep red, 760 nm, and 830 nm, with no 480 nm blue and no 1064 nm, get a simpler mix. Four named bands is not automatically “not enough.” Density is the conversation. Equal 25 percent slices is a real mix, not a smear, and not a 660/850 clone.

The Red Light Device is a different cube: 610 nm 25%, 630 nm 25%, 670 nm 50%. The Infrared Light Device is 760 nm 50% and 830 nm 50%. Those two SKUs do not run the four-band combo mix. Combo devices run all wavelengths together. A 2016-era blog Q&A on the site still says you do not need to switch between the different wavelengths. That is a catalog fact.

Sessions with 670 nm or 830 nm may help people who want those peaks. Sessions with 620 nm may help people who specifically want that orange-red slice. Neither claim is a diagnosis. The 620/670/760/830 quartet is Red Light Man’s published recipe. Buyers who want 480 nm, 810 nm, 850 nm, or 1064 nm will not find those bands on the combo SKUs.

Fit note: Four published peaks at 25 percent each is the line thesis. Buyers who want only 620, 670, 760, and 830, running together, are in the right aisle. Buyers who want a published 810 nm or 1064 nm slice will not find it on these SKUs.

Power and Irradiance: Measured by Independent Third Parties

Solar power meters over-report LED output. Spectrometers are the accurate reference. Peak compares with peak. Average compares with average. A 15 cm figure is not a 6-inch figure. An unnamed-instrument brand claim is not a third-party spectrometer figure. Those jobs stay in separate rows on this page. COB high density is a catalog fact about packing, not a smear, and it is not mixed into the spectrometer column.

Spectrometer column: unpublished

Red Light Man does not publish a third-party spectrometer reading for Combo Light, Combo Bodylight 2.0, Red Light Device, or Infrared Light Device. The live product pages pulled 1 September 2026 do not name the instrument, the lab, a peak, or an average at six inches. Independent spectrometer output for this catalog is unpublished. This review will not fill the gap with a guessed meter brand, and it will not rewrite 200 mW/cm² at 15 cm into a fake six-inch spectrometer peak.

Brand-stated table (unnamed method, not ranked as a spectrometer result)

Model Brand-stated irradiance (method not named)
Combo LightUp to 1000 mW/cm² at surface. 200 mW/cm² at 15 cm. 20 mW/cm² at 45 cm. Not a spectrometer row.
Combo Bodylight 2.0Up to 250 mW/cm² at surface. 100 mW/cm² at 20 cm. 20 mW/cm² at 150 cm. No 6-inch figure. Not a spectrometer row.
Red Light Device200 mW/cm² at 8 cm. 20 mW/cm² at 42 cm. No 6-inch figure. Not a spectrometer row.
Infrared Light Device200 mW/cm² at 10 cm. Method not named. No 6-inch figure. Not a spectrometer row.

Those distances are useful as Red Light Man’s own table. They are not a win against a spectrometer, and they are not a loss against a spectrometer. Do not stack 200 at 15 cm against a named-instrument six-inch peak from another shop. Those are different instruments. COB packing can raise local power density on a small face. That is construction, not a third-party trace.

Fit note: The 200 at 15 cm / 1000 at surface / 100 at 20 cm table is disclosed, not hidden. Unnamed method is the remaining paperwork gap. Do not “fix” 200 by comparing it to a solar-meter headline from another brand, and do not treat the missing spectrometer as a smear of the COB thesis.

COB, beam, and what is unpublished

Combo Light, Red Light Device, and Infrared Light Device use a COB LED system. The live Combo Light page calls it chip-on-board packing for higher density. The Red Light Device page describes a large central COB surrounded by mini-COBs. That is the construction story. It is a catalog fact. It is not a smear, and it is not a spectrometer reading.

Combo Bodylight 2.0 lists 200 high power LEDs and a 30-degree lens. The live page does not say COB. Construction for that SKU stays unpublished beyond “high power LEDs.” Beam angles that are published: Combo Light 40 degrees, Combo Bodylight 2.0 30 degrees, Red Light Device 35 degrees.

COB versus single-chip versus dual-chip is packaging. It is not used here as a quality smear. What the buyer actually gets on the Combo Light is a 42-diode, 1.4 kg hangable cube with four listed peaks and a 40-degree beam.

What’s in the box: hang kit, no stand, no goggles

Combo Light box (live What’s in the box, 1 September 2026): the device, a power cord with the country’s plug type, hanging kit, user guide. Combo Bodylight 2.0: the panel, a 4 m / 13 ft power cord, hanging kit, user guide. Red Light Device and Infrared Light Device: device, power cord, hanging/mounting kit, instruction leaflet. No floor stand. No goggles listed. This review will not invent included goggles, and it will not invent a floor stand that the box list does not print.

Combo Bodylight copy states that safety goggles are not necessary with that product, that closing your eyes is usually enough for face use, and that LED red light is not a laser source. That is brand language. This page does not convert that sentence into a medical safety claim. House voice: eye protection remains a buyer choice if bright visible red is uncomfortable.

Grounding language sits on the Combo Light, Combo Bodylight, and cube pages. Touching the plugged-in device, even when it is off, is described as a natural electrical connection to Earth that cuts the AC electric field. The method is not named as a lab protocol. Treat that as a published brand claim on the shell, not an independent milligauss report with a named meter.

Modes: all-on combo, no switch

Combo devices run all wavelengths together. There is no selectable red-only or infrared-only mode on the Combo Light or Combo Bodylight 2.0. There is no pulse menu advertised on those live pages. There is no companion app. Devices stay simple on purpose. If you want one band family, the Red Light Device and Infrared Light Device are separate SKUs.

There is no personalised weekly plan written after purchase. The user guide and the on-page how-to are the protocol. That is enough for a hang cube with one mix. It is not a nine-preset touchscreen.

Trial, shipping, and warranty

Two clocks. The trial is 30 days. The warranty is 3 years on products and 1 year on cords and accessories. They are not the same path.

Trial, confirmed on redlightman.com/delivery/ and the product badges, 1 September 2026. A full 30-day home trial of any product. Full refund of the product price. Original shipping charges are not refundable. Return delivery is arranged and funded by the customer. The product must be in full working order and as-new condition. That is a real 30-day window with a named shipping exception. It is not a smear. Buyers who want original outbound shipping refunded, or a prepaid return label, are looking at a different policy.

Warranty is 3 years on products if they stop working after the date you receive them, with a possible request for photos, video, or a return to verify failure. Accessories such as power cords have a 1-year warranty. Confirmed on redlightman.com/terms-conditions/ and on the 3-year warranty badge on live product pages this morning. An older pack listed 1 year. That pack figure is stale against today’s terms.

Worldwide free standard shipping is stated on the product pages. Terms add that some countries have a minimum order value for free shipping, and that faster options cost extra.

A note on FDA

Red Light Man is a UK company. FDA registration or 510(k) clearance is not published on the live Combo Light, Combo Bodylight 2.0, Red Light Device, or terms pages pulled 1 September 2026. Unpublished is unpublished. This page does not invent an FDA listing, a 510(k) K-number, or a US device classification. Combo Light lists RoHS, FCC, and CE compliance tests. Combo Bodylight 2.0 lists FCC and CE. Red Light Device lists FCC and CE. Those are the published marks. They are not an FDA clearance either.

The live product disclaimer states that products are not for the diagnosis, prevention, monitoring, treatment or alleviation of any specific disease, injury or disability. Sessions may help recovery-oriented or general wellness routines. They are not prescribed as therapy for a named condition on this page.

Fit note: Honest “FDA unpublished, UK shop, CE/RoHS/FCC as printed” language is the right class for this catalog. Shoppers who need a 510(k) will not find one invented here. Shoppers who need any US listing at all should read the live pages, which still do not print one this morning.

User reviews: Trustpilot, 1 September 2026

Public reviews on this page are scored from independent Trustpilot listings, not from manufacturer star widgets. On-site shop ratings and homepage star blocks are a different dataset and are not mixed in. Red Light Man hosts customer comments on its own site. Those stars stay off this section.

Trustpilot · 1 September 2026

4.9 / 5

81 reviews on www.trustpilot.com/review/redlightman.com, pulled 1 September 2026. UK listing: 4.8 from 77 on uk.trustpilot.com/review/redlightman.com.

Not thin. Eighty-one reviews is a real sample, not a handful of scores. This is not a winner badge. On-site stars are not mixed in.

The TrustScore sits high with a usable count. Direct Trustpilot HTML can time out behind a bot check; the public listing title, score, and count come from the live Trustpilot result pages indexed that morning. Do not borrow shop-page ratings to grow a sample that is already independent.

Who Red Light Man actually fits

A reasonable first stop

When this catalog is the right conversation

  • Want a 12 x 12 cm hangable COB Combo Light, or a 115 x 17 cm Combo Bodylight 2.0 hang strip, rather than a floor-standing body wall.
  • Want 620, 670, 760, and 830 nm at 25 percent each, running together, with no mode switch.
  • Want published COB packing on the cubes, and you accept that Combo Bodylight 2.0 does not name COB on the live page.
  • Want published grounding language on the shell, and you accept that the method is unnamed.
  • Want a $275 Combo Light or a $799 Combo Bodylight 2.0, worldwide free standard shipping from Manchester, and you accept a 30-day trial that does not refund original shipping.
  • Live in the UK or want a UK VAT-registered family shop, and you are not shopping Red Therapy Co or Recover Red by mistake.

Look at the 16-brand table instead

When this catalog is the wrong first stop

  • Need 480 nm, 810 nm, 850 nm, or 1064 nm on the combo SKUs. Those bands are not in the 620/670/760/830 mix.
  • Need a named spectrometer model at six inches. Red Light Man states 200 at 15 cm, 1000 at surface, and 100 at 20 cm, method unnamed.
  • Need a 30-inch, 49-inch, or 64-inch-wide panel. Combo Bodylight 2.0 is 17 cm wide.
  • Need a floor stand in the box, or goggles in the box. Hang kit is what ships. Goggles are brand language, not an included accessory.
  • Need original outbound shipping refunded, a prepaid return label, or a 60-day window.
  • Need an FDA listing or a 510(k). Unpublished (UK). CE, RoHS, and FCC are what the live pages print.

Close UK or COB-cube rivals belong on a versus URL when that URL is actually live, and on the 16-brand table, not under a crown on this review.

This review stays on one catalog. Head-to-heads live elsewhere. The Red Light Man versus RLT Home URL is planned on this site and currently 404s in WordPress, so it is not claimed as a live article. No Red Light Man-versus-versus pages are live on redlighttherapytop10.com as of 1 September 2026. This review does not invent a Red Light Man vs Red Light Rising slug, and it does not invent a Red Light Man vs Red Therapy Co slug. Joovv vs RLT Home and Mito Red Light vs RLT Home are live field pages on this site if you want a wider two-brand conversation that is actually published.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Combo Light underpowered?

Do not mix meters. Red Light Man states 200 mW/cm² at 15 cm and up to 1000 at surface on the Combo Light, with the instrument unnamed. Combo Bodylight 2.0 states 100 at 20 cm. Those numbers stay on a separate row from any spectrometer column. Independent spectrometer output for this catalog is unpublished. Solar-meter headlines from other shops are a different instrument. COB high density is packing, not a third-party trace.

Is Combo Bodylight 2.0 a COB panel?

The live page lists 200 high power LEDs and a 30-degree lens. It does not name COB. Combo Light, Red Light Device, and Infrared Light Device do name a COB LED system. This review does not paste the cube label onto the strip.

Does a stand come in the box?

No. A hanging kit and cord are included. Combo Bodylight 2.0 ships a 4 m / 13 ft power cord and a hanging kit. No floor stand is listed.

Are goggles included?

No. They are not in the box. Combo Bodylight copy says safety goggles are not necessary with that product. That is brand language, not a medical safety finding. Eye protection is still a buyer choice.

How does the 30-day trial actually work?

Written delivery page: full 30-day home trial. Full refund of the product price. Original shipping charges are not refunded. The buyer funds the return. Warranty is a separate 3-year path on products, 1 year on cords and accessories.

Is Red Light Man FDA-cleared or FDA-registered?

Neither is published on the live UK pages pulled 1 September 2026. This page does not invent a 510(k). Combo Light lists RoHS, FCC, and CE. Combo Bodylight 2.0 lists FCC and CE.

Is this the same brand as Red Therapy Co or Recover Red?

No. Red Light Man is redlightman.com, Manchester, UK, since 2014. Red Therapy Co and Recover Red are different companies. Red Light Rising is also a different UK shop.

What do public user reviews say?

Independent Trustpilot, not the shop widget: 4.9 / 5 from 81 reviews on www.trustpilot.com/review/redlightman.com as of 1 September 2026. UK listing 4.8 from 77. Not thin. Not a winner badge. On-site product stars are not mixed into that sample.

Is there a Red Light Man discount code on this page?

No. Live 1 September 2026 stickers, USD Ex. VAT: Combo Light $275, Combo Bodylight 2.0 $799, Red Light Device $310. No Red Light Man coupon is invented here. TOP10 6% applies to RLT Home live prices only, in the funnel at the end of this page.

Do combo devices have red-only and NIR-only modes?

No. Combo Light and Combo Bodylight 2.0 run 620, 670, 760, and 830 nm together. The Red Light Device and Infrared Light Device are separate SKUs if you want one band family.

Where should shoppers go for a Red Light Man versus RLT Home comparison?

The slug /red-light-man-vs-rlt-home/ is planned and currently a WordPress 404. No Red Light Man-versus-versus URLs are live on this site as of 1 September 2026, and none are invented here. For a wider field, use the 16-brand ranking CTAs on this page.

If the fit is a seven-band full-body panel instead

RLT Home sits at the end of this review on purpose. It is not mixed through the Red Light Man spec sections and it is not awarded a crown here. Shoppers who wanted an in-stock 49-inch or 64-inch chassis, a seven-band mix (480, 630, 660, 810, 830, 850, 1064 nm), nine named modes, and a personalised weekly plan are looking at a different product. Live 1 September 2026 prices from redlighttherapyhome.com/products.json: RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI $495 (TOP10 $465), RLT Home Total Spectrum COMPACT $995 ($935), RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX $1,595 ($1,499), RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA $2,595 ($2,439), RLT Home Total Spectrum ELITE $4,495 ($4,225). TOP10 is 6% off current RLT Home stickers only, nearest dollar. No Red Light Man code is invented.

RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX seven-band red light therapy panel
RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX, one of the in-stock seven-band panels, shown only in this end funnel. Manufacturer CDN photo. Live price $1,595 (TOP10 $1,499). Not a ranking of Red Light Man.

RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI is the 72-LED tabletop. RLT Home Total Spectrum COMPACT is the 216-LED mid panel. RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX is the 360-LED, 49.2-inch panel. RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA is the 480-LED, 64.3-inch lie-under panel. RLT Home Total Spectrum ELITE is the 864-LED, 65 by 20.5-inch flagship. Use the ranking board, and use the planned Red Light Man versus RLT Home slug when that page is actually live.

RLT Home only

TOP10 is 6% off the current RLT Home live price, nearest dollar. It does not apply to Red Light Man. Red Light Man stickers on this page are manufacturer USD Ex. VAT with no invented code.

Bottom line

Red Light Man in 2026 is a Manchester UK catalog of hangable COB cubes and a 17 cm-wide Combo Bodylight 2.0. Combo Light $275 Ex. VAT, Combo Bodylight 2.0 $799, Red Light Device $310. The published mix on the combo SKUs is 620 / 670 / 760 / 830 nm at 25 percent each. Brand-stated irradiance is 200 mW/cm² at 15 cm and up to 1000 at surface on the Combo Light, and 100 at 20 cm on Combo Bodylight 2.0, method unnamed, spectrometer unpublished. COB is a catalog fact on the cubes. No stand. Hanging kit. Goggles are brand language, not in the box. Three-year warranty on products, 1 year on cords, 30-day trial that does not refund original shipping. FDA unpublished (UK). Combo Light lists RoHS, FCC, and CE. Trustpilot 4.9 from 81 reviews (UK 4.8 from 77), not a winner badge, not mixed with on-site stars. This is not Red Therapy Co and not Recover Red. Enough to judge fit. Not a market crown.

Important: This article is general wellness information and does not constitute medical advice. Speak with a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new therapy, particularly if you have cancer, are pregnant, or are managing a serious health condition. Red Light Man has not published an FDA listing on the UK pages pulled for this review. No 510(k) is invented here. Registration, where other brands print it, is a listing, not clearance.
