Rojo Light Therapy Review (2026)

Rojo Light Therapy manufacturer mark from the brand CDN (rojolighttherapy.com). Single-brand hero, not a versus lockup. Device photos sit in the sections below.

Medical review: All articles on Red Light Therapy Top 10 are reviewed for scientific accuracy and evidence-based relevance by our medical expert team. This page is wellness information, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. Red light therapy may help some people with skin appearance or recovery goals. It is not presented here as a treatment for any named disease.

Rojo Light Therapy is an Australian-rooted panel maker whose 2026 US catalog is the Refine series: five dual-chip sizes from a 60-LED desk panel to a 1,200-LED flagship. The design bet is independent intensity on 630, 660, 810, 830, and 850 nm, a touchscreen, an app, and about ten smart modes. This review covers live 1 September 2026 USD prices, LTI spectrometer figures, trial terms, Trustpilot, and who the design fits. It is not a versus page and does not crown a market winner.

Rojo sells the Refine series from regional sites. This review uses the US store at rojolighttherapy.com, which quotes USD and ships US orders from a Nevada warehouse. Other countries ship from the closest warehouse. Delivery is free worldwide on the live product page, with a clear note that customers outside the US will likely incur import duties. Australian, UK, and EU stores exist and quote local currency. Those stickers are not treated as US dollars here.

Sessions with these panels may help people who already want a dual-chip five-peak mix, a slider on every listed wavelength, and a named smart mode they can start without building a protocol from scratch. They do not turn a home LED panel into a clinic device. They do not add 1064 nm, the band people usually mean when they ask about arthritis and osteoarthritis. They do not create an FDA clearance file that this review could not find.

The 2026 Refine lineup

Start with physical size. Refine 180 is a 10.6 by 9-inch desk panel. Refine 360 is 15.5 by 11.8 inches. Refine 900 is 35.8 by 11.8 inches, the body panel Light Therapy Insiders measured. Refine 1800 is 70.9 by 11.8 inches. Refine 3600 is 70.9 by 23.6 inches and was the only size on pre-order in the 1 September 2026 US variations. All five list the same peaks, a 60-degree beam, and dual-chip LEDs. LED counts: 60, 120, 300, 600, 1,200. Draw: 118 W, 230 W, 483 W, 960 W, 1,900 W. The 3600 lists 17.27 A at 110 V, a dedicated-circuit question in US homes.

The first irradiance number is the brand’s OHSP350IR spectrometer figure at 6 inches, which Rojo says is the dosing number. The second is a solar-style comparison figure the brand itself says should not be used for dosing. Independent Light Therapy Insiders numbers sit in the irradiance section. Do not mix those instruments.

Refine 180 (60 LEDs, tabletop)

Rojo Refine 180 dual-chip red light therapy panel on a desk stand
Rojo Refine 180, 60 dual-chip LEDs on a 10.6 x 9-inch face, shown on the desk stand that ships in the Refine box. Manufacturer CDN photo. Live price $459.

Refine 180 is the entry panel: 60 dual-chip LEDs, 118 W, 7.7 pounds, $459. Treat it as a desk unit for face, neck, and small joints. The same five peaks and per-wavelength control sit on this chassis. Brand 6-inch figures are 75 / 195 mW/cm². Light Therapy Insiders did not publish a dedicated 180 report here. Sessions on Refine 180 may help people who want a small, app-linked panel on the included desk stand.

Refine 360 (120 LEDs, mid desk / upper body)

Rojo Refine 360 red light therapy panel
Rojo Refine 360, 120 dual-chip LEDs on a 15.5 x 11.8-inch face. Manufacturer CDN photo. Live price $595.

Refine 360 doubles the 180: 120 LEDs, 230 W, 14.3 pounds, 15.5 x 11.8 inches, $595. The wheeled floor stand listing names Refine 360 and Refine 900. This is still a seated or half-body panel. Brand 6-inch figures match the 180 (75 / 195). No standalone LTI report for this size was located at write time.

Refine 900 (300 LEDs, body panel)

Rojo Refine 900 300 LED red light therapy panel
Rojo Refine 900, the 35.8 x 11.8-inch, 300-LED body panel. Manufacturer CDN photo. Live price $1,295. The mount listing says a compatible wheeled floor stand ships with every Refine 900 order.

Refine 900 is the measurement anchor: 35.8 x 11.8 inches, 300 dual-chip LEDs, 483 W, 22.5 pounds, $1,295. Brand 6-inch figures are 73 mW/cm² spectrometer and 185 mW/cm² comparison. Light Therapy Insiders measured 73 mW/cm² average and 85 mW/cm² peak at 6 inches. Pair those with the brand’s 73, not with 185. The mobile floor stand listing says a compatible mount ships with every Refine 900 order. Confirm at checkout; the stand SKU still showed a July 27 backorder line on 1 September 2026. A 36-inch face covers torso height for many adults. It is not a 70-inch lie-under plane. Sessions on Refine 900 may help people who want a body-height panel with per-band sliders.

Refine 1800 (600 LEDs, tall single column)

Rojo Refine 1800 tall red light therapy panel
Rojo Refine 1800, 600 dual-chip LEDs on a 70.9 x 11.8-inch face. Manufacturer CDN photo. Live price $2,195.

Refine 1800 is the tall, narrow panel: 70.9 x 11.8 inches, 600 LEDs, 960 W, 46.7 pounds, $2,195. Brand 6-inch figures are 75 / 195. Pneumatic stand copy names 900 and 1800. Motorised lift copy names 900, 1800, and 3600. Height is lie-under. Width is still 11.8 inches. LTI numbers in this review are for the 900 and the 3600, not a dedicated 1800 report.

Refine 3600 (1,200 LEDs, wide flagship)

Rojo Refine 3600 full-body red light therapy panel
Rojo Refine 3600, 1,200 dual-chip LEDs on a 70.9 x 23.6-inch face. Manufacturer CDN photo. Live price $3,699. US variation was on pre-order 1 September 2026, estimated mid November.

Refine 3600 is the wide flagship: 70.9 x 23.6 inches, 1,200 LEDs, 1,900 W, 90.4 pounds, $3,699. On 1 September 2026 the US variation was on pre-order, estimated mid November, full payment up front. Brand 6-inch figures are 75 / 195. Light Therapy Insiders reported 72 mW/cm² average at 6 inches, peak around 80, close to the brand’s 75 and far from 195. Draw is 17.27 A at 110 V, a dedicated-circuit question. Motorised and vertical stand listings each name one 3600. Those paid stands are not in the What’s Included list (eye protection, power cable, desk stand, manual).

Spectrum: five listed peaks, even red / NIR split

Rojo lists 630, 660, 810, 830, and 850 nm on every Refine size. Marketing copy on the same page still says “4 wavelengths” and an even 50/50 split between 620-670 nm red and 820-860 nm NIR. This review treats the five named peaks as the hardware list and the 50/50 split as the published energy story. LED share per peak is not a manufacturer table. Light Therapy Insiders described about 17% of Refine 900 energy at 810 nm (100 of 600 chips). There is no 1064 nm and no 480 nm blue on the panel rows. Per-wavelength intensity is the differentiator: each listed peak can be set on its own. The product page calls that a world first. This review records that the touchscreen and the Rojo LED app expose those sliders. It does not audit every other catalog’s firmware.

Power and Irradiance: Measured by Independent Third Parties

Rojo publishes two 6-inch numbers on every Refine row. The starred OHSP350IR figure is the dosing number: 75 mW/cm² on 180, 360, 1800, and 3600, and 73 mW/cm² on Refine 900. The double-starred figure is a solar-style comparison number (195 on most sizes, 185 on the 900). The live page says not to use that second figure for dosing. This review follows that split.

Independent spectrometer work sits with Light Therapy Insiders. Refine 900: 73 mW/cm² average and 85 mW/cm² peak at 6 inches, five claimed peaks confirmed on a trace. Refine 3600: 72 mW/cm² average at 6 inches after nine positions, peak around 80, close to the brand’s 75 and far from 195. Pair average with average and peak with peak. Other Refine sizes do not have a dedicated LTI report here. Do not copy the 900’s 73/85 onto the 180.

EMF and flicker claims on the spec table are brand measurements: flicker listed as zero, EMF listed as 0.0 µT at 4 inches, with a separate safety-standards line of 0.8 mG EMF and 2 V/m ELF at 3 inches. Light Therapy Insiders described EMF on the 900 as rock bottom and recorded about 46.5 dB at 6 inches. Those are independent notes, not a substitute for a full EMC lab binder. This page does not invent a third lab.

Chips, beam, and modular notes

Refine panels use dual-chip LEDs behind 60-degree lenses. Each lens typically carries a red and a near-infrared die, so surface coverage looks even while each wavelength shares the package. This review records that choice. It does not run a penetration contest here. A 60-degree beam spreads faster with distance than a tighter optic. One on-site Refine 900 comment preferred 30 degrees now that intensity can be dimmed. That is a user preference, not a ranking row.

Older Rojo 900 and 1500 panels do not app-link with Refine, per Light Therapy Insiders. The vertical stand lists up to six Refine 900s, three 1800s, or one 3600. The motorised lift lists four 900s, two 1800s, or one 3600. Those are mount capacities, not a six-panel SKU.

Smart modes, custom memories, pulsing, and the app

The live Refine page lists ten smart modes plus three custom memories: Inflammation, Skin Repair, Muscle Recovery, Collagen Repair, Fat Loss, Sleep, Wound Heal, Nerve, Bone & Joint, and Pet. Sleep fades 20% red to 0% over 30 minutes. Sunrise rises 0% to 50% red over 30 minutes. Those are manufacturer protocols. Light Therapy Insiders called named modes a useful starting point and noted that full-body array dosing research is still thin. A smart mode may help someone who does not want to build a protocol. It does not copy a specific trial.

Each listed peak can be set on its own percentage. Three custom slots save a full set. Pulsing is listed at 1-999 Hz for NIR only. The Rojo LED app remotes one or more panels. There is no handheld IR remote in What’s Included. Light Therapy Insiders and on-site comments note a small touchscreen and extra taps to power down. Those are usability notes, not a warranty defect.

In the box, and the mounts that are not

The Refine series “What’s Included” list on 1 September 2026 names four items: eye protection, power cable, desk stand, and user manual. Eye protection in the box is a real line, not an assumption. The desk stand is the in-box mount for the series. It is the stand in the Refine 180 product photo. It is not a wheeled floor stand, not a pneumatic column, and not a motorised lift.

Rojo pneumatic height-adjustable stand for Refine panels
Rojo pneumatic stand, live price $445, named for Refine 900 and Refine 1800, vertical or horizontal. Manufacturer CDN photo. Vertical and horizontal stands are not eligible for the 60-day trial return.

Paid mounts, live US prices the same morning:

  • Mobile floor stand $75. Copy says it works with Refine 360 or Refine 900 (and older Rojo 900 / 1500). Copy also says it already comes included with every Refine 900 order. The same card still showed “on backorder, back in stock from 27th July” and a pre-order button on 1 September 2026. Confirm whether a 900 ships with the boot stand before treating $75 as an extra.
  • Pneumatic stand $445. Height-adjustable air column for Refine 900 or 1800. Horizontal and vertical. Add to cart was live.
  • Rojo vertical stand $485. Up to six Refine 900s, three 1800s, or one 3600. Same July 27 backorder / pre-order copy as the mobile floor stand.
  • Motorised lift stand $795. Remote-control lift. Refine 900, 1800, and 3600 only. Horizontal and vertical. Listed in stock.

Door hanging hardware is not on the current “What’s Included” four-item list. Older buyer comments, including a 2024 on-site Refine 900 review, mention a free floor stand, wheels, and a door hanger with a pulley at the time of that purchase. This review uses the live 2026 included list, not a 2024 gift. Confirm the 900 mount at checkout.

60-day trial and 3-year whole-unit warranty

Warranty language on rojolighttherapy.com/warranty/ is a complete 3-year warranty on the entire unit. Rojo says it will repair or, if necessary, replace the entire unit. Coverage starts on the purchase date, original purchaser only, and excludes misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation, fire, and excessive heat. Replacement parts are warranted against manufacturer defects. That is a whole-unit term, not a LEDs-only window. It is still a warranty against defects, not a performance guarantee.

Trial language on shipping-returns is a 60-day panel trial, full refund, new or like-new, customer-paid freight. FAQ adds no restocking fee. US and Canadian returns go to the US warehouse; other regions to the closest warehouse. Vertical and horizontal stands are not eligible for returns. Budget that exclusion before adding a $445, $485, or $795 mount. Free worldwide outbound shipping; import duties outside the US stay with the customer. Cancel before dispatch for a full refund. After ship, cancellations follow the return rules.

FDA language: listing versus clearance, no invented file

Rojo’s live product footer describes all Rojo light therapy products as low-risk devices designed for general health and wellbeing, not intended to cure or prevent specific medical conditions or diseases. That is accurate wellness language. This review does not flag it as false marketing. The brand does not hang a “medical-grade panel” tag on the Refine series page. A manufacturing line that says panels are made in a medical-class facility is a factory claim, not a device classification.

This review does not invent FDA clearance. A 1 September 2026 FDA establishment search for “Rojo” returned INTEROJO INC., a contact-lens maker, not Rojo Light Therapy. No public Rojo Light Therapy listing or 510(k) was attached to this brand name. Home panels that do have a US listing are FDA-registered, not FDA-cleared. This page does not assign either status to Rojo without a public file. Some Rojo blog posts use “FDA-cleared” wording. Those posts are not treated as a 510(k). The product-page disclaimer is the language this review follows.

CE, RoHS, EMC, LVD, and FCC appear on the safety-standards list. Those marks do not turn a home LED panel into a clinic device.

User reviews: Trustpilot is thin, and on-site stars stay separate

Public Trustpilot is the independent listing this site uses. Manufacturer on-site star widgets are a different dataset and are not mixed in. Rojo’s Refine product page showed 4.83 from 12 reviews on 1 September 2026. The /reviews/ page showed 4.85 from 13. Those numbers are recorded so a shopper can see them. They are not the Trustpilot score.

Public Trustpilot · 1 September 2026 snapshot

3.4 / 5

2 reviews at trustpilot.com/review/www.rojolighttherapy.eu. Linked UK listing: 3.7 / 5 from 1 review at trustpilot.com/review/www.rojolighttherapy.uk. No Trustpilot listing for rojolighttherapy.com was found at write time. Direct HTML fetch of Trustpilot returned a bot challenge. Scores and counts were re-verified from public Trustpilot index pages the same day and match the 1 September 2026 snapshot used across this site’s Rojo files.

The sample is thin. Two EU reviews and one UK review are not a market average. One EU comment praises delivery. Another, dated 19 December 2025, describes slow support on a pneumatic-stand locking pin. The UK listing has a December 2025 Refine 180 write-up on build and modes after one day, with no outcome claim yet. This is too small to treat as a reputation number.

On-site comments on the Refine page, which this review does not fold into Trustpilot, skew toward Refine 900 buyers who like per-wavelength control, presets, packaging, and staff names. A few mention the small touchscreen, 60-degree lenses, and app timeouts. Older comments still refer to Rojo 1500 and Rojo 3000, which are prior-generation names, not live Refine SKUs.

Who Rojo Light Therapy is actually for

A reasonable fit

Buyers who already want this design

  • Want independent intensity on 630, 660, 810, 830, and 850 nm, not only a grouped red / NIR switch.
  • Want named smart modes (including Sleep fade and Sunrise) plus three custom memories, a touchscreen, and the Rojo LED app.
  • Want a 3-year warranty that is written as the entire unit, and a 60-day panel trial with no restocking fee.
  • Want eye protection and a desk stand in the box, and, on Refine 900, a compatible floor mount that the mount listing says ships with the order.
  • Want free worldwide outbound shipping from a local warehouse story (Nevada for US orders), and will handle import duties outside the US.
  • Want a dual-chip 60-degree flood and are fine without 1064 nm and without blue on the panel.
  • Can live with a thin public Trustpilot sample and will read the stand-return exclusion before adding a $445-$795 mount.

Look at the 16-brand table instead

When this catalog is the wrong first stop

  • Want 1064 nm, or a 480 nm blue channel. Refine lists neither.
  • Want a large independent review sample. Trustpilot here is 3.4 from 2 (EU) and 3.7 from 1 (UK). The sample is thin. This page says so.
  • Want free return shipping on a 60-day trial. Rojo’s written rule is customer-paid freight, like-new, and stands are not eligible.
  • Want a paid vertical or horizontal stand they can send back if the panel stays. That is not the written policy.
  • Need a live Refine 3600 without a pre-order. Mid-November estimate and full payment up front were the 1 September 2026 US terms.
  • Need a simple 110 V outlet for the 3600. 17.27 A at 110 V is a dedicated-circuit question.
  • Are shopping this brand mainly as a head-to-head against RLT Home or GembaRed. Those comparisons are separate planned URLs, not a crown here.

The ranking table is live. The two-brand page against RLT Home is written on disk and the WordPress slug returned 404 at write time, so it is labeled planned. The closest Rojo versus-versus HTML on disk is GembaRed versus Rojo. That slug also returned 404 at write time and is labeled planned. Other Rojo versus-versus files were not on disk. This page does not invent extra live WordPress URLs.

Frequently asked questions

Does Refine really let you set each wavelength on its own?

Yes, on the live US product page. Independent adjustment of each listed peak (630, 660, 810, 830, 850 nm) is the headline control feature, not only a grouped red switch and a grouped NIR switch. That 660 plus 850 core is the pairing behind most inflammation-focused protocols. Three custom memories save a full set. The Rojo LED app mirrors those controls for one or more panels.

Why does the page say both four wavelengths and five peaks?

The spec table lists 630 / 660 / 810 / 830 / 850 nm. Body copy still says four wavelengths and a 50/50 split between 620-670 nm red and 820-860 nm NIR. This review records both lines as they appear. LED share per peak is not a manufacturer table. Light Therapy Insiders described about 17% of Refine 900 energy at 810 nm, a share often discussed for muscle recovery.

Is Refine 900 a full-body panel?

It is a 35.8 x 11.8-inch body face. Many adults cover torso height in one standing placement and still turn around. It is not a 70-inch lie-under plane. Refine 1800 and Refine 3600 are the 70.9-inch heights. 3600 is also 23.6 inches wide.

What irradiance number should be used for dosing?

Rojo’s starred OHSP350IR figure at 6 inches: 73 mW/cm² on Refine 900, 75 mW/cm² on the other four sizes. The higher double-starred figure is a comparison number the brand says not to use for dosing. Independent LTI figures on Refine 900 are 73 average and 85 peak at 6 inches. On Refine 3600, LTI average is 72 at 6 inches with a peak around 80. Do not mix solar-style headlines with spectrometer averages.

Does a stand come in the box?

Desk stand: yes, on the live What’s Included list, with eye protection, power cable, and manual. The mobile floor stand listing says a compatible mount already ships with every Refine 900 order. Confirm that gift at checkout. Pneumatic ($445), vertical ($485, backorder copy), and motorised lift ($795, in stock) are paid SKUs. Vertical and horizontal stands are not eligible for the 60-day trial return.

How does the 60-day trial actually work?

Panels only. Sixty days from delivery. Full refund if returned fully packaged in new or like-new condition. Customer pays return shipping. No restocking fee on the FAQ. Damaged units are sent back to the customer. US and Canadian returns go to the US warehouse. Other regions go to the closest warehouse. Stands are excluded.

Is the warranty the whole unit or just LEDs?

The warranty page says a complete 3-year warranty on the entire unit, repair or replace. Original purchaser, from the purchase date, excluding misuse and listed hazards.

Is Rojo FDA-cleared or FDA-registered?

This review does not invent either status. Product pages describe low-risk general wellness devices not intended to cure or prevent disease. A 1 September 2026 FDA establishment search for “Rojo” did not return Rojo Light Therapy. Home panels that have a US listing are FDA-registered, not cleared. That category sentence is not assigned as a Rojo file here.

What is the live Trustpilot score?

3.4 out of 5 from 2 reviews at www.rojolighttherapy.eu, and 3.7 out of 5 from 1 review at www.rojolighttherapy.uk, 1 September 2026 snapshot. No .com listing was found. The sample is thin. On-site 4.83 / 12 stars are not mixed in. This is not a winner badge.

Is Refine 3600 in stock in the US?

Not as a simple in-stock row on 1 September 2026. The variation said pre-order, estimated availability mid November, full payment required up front. Refine 180, 360, 900, and 1800 said in stock (can be backordered). Confirm at checkout.

Is there a Rojo discount code on this page?

No. Prices are live manufacturer USD stickers from 1 September 2026. Gifts and warehouse shipping are not codes. TOP10 is 6 percent off current RLT Home live prices only, nearest dollar, and is not applied to Rojo stickers.

Where should GembaRed or RLT Home shoppers go?

To the reserved two-brand URLs: GembaRed vs Rojo and Rojo vs RLT Home. Both were WordPress 404s at write time and are labeled planned. The live 16-brand ranking is the published board. Other Rojo versus-versus slugs are not invented here.

This review does not invent FDA clearance and does not crown a market winner. Use the 16-brand ranking, and treat Rojo versus RLT Home and GembaRed versus Rojo as planned until WordPress serves them.

Important: This article is general wellness information, not medical advice. Speak with a qualified clinician before starting any new therapy, particularly if you have cancer, are pregnant, or are managing a serious condition. Rojo describes its products as low-risk wellness devices not intended to cure or prevent disease. This page does not invent FDA clearance or a registration number. Home panels that have a US listing are FDA-registered, not cleared. That listing is not assigned to Rojo here. Outcomes are discussed as “may help.”
