LightpathLED vs RLT Home: Which Red Light Therapy Brand Wins in 2026?
Medical review: Articles on Red Light Therapy Top 10 are reviewed for scientific accuracy by our medical expert team. This page is wellness information, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan.
LightpathLED is the pulsed, dual-chip Diesel specialist: 670 / 810 / 940 nm at about 66% near infrared, 10 pulse presets plus manual 1 to 9,999 Hz, and a founder who still takes scheduled calls. RLT Home is the seven-band line (480, 630, 660, 810, 830, 850, 1064 nm) with six-inch spectrometer peaks, nine science-built modes, a free personalised weekly plan, and in-stock full-body panels. These are not size clones. A $924 Tabletop Gen3 does not cover a body the way RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX does.
Winner summary
Overall winner: RLT Home
LightpathLED Diesel Gen3 is a 34.1 x 14.6-inch, 322-LED panel. RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX is a 49.2 x 11.8-inch, 360-LED panel. Diesel XL Gen3 is about 45 inches tall. RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA is 64.3 inches. Titan is 72 inches with an electric stand. RLT Home Total Spectrum ELITE is 65 x 20.5 inches with a motorized stand. Compare equivalent configs, not a tabletop against a lie-under panel.
This review compares spectrum, irradiance, chips, coverage, pulsing, accessories, returns, public user reviews, and equivalent pricing using manufacturer selling prices pulled 1 September 2026 from lightpathled.com/products.json and redlighttherapyhome.com/products.json. Verdict: RLT Home for most buyers. LightpathLED is the runner-up for pulsed dual-chip Diesel and Titan panels, a 5-year Gen3 warranty, and founder-led support.

4.6 / 5
RLT Home wins this row on having an independent Trustpilot listing (4.6 / 5 from 243 reviews). LightpathLED has no Trustpilot page to score. That is a sample-size and transparency gap, not a claim that Diesel owners are unhappy. The on-site shop widget is not this row.

The brands at a glance
LightpathLED
Pulsed dual-chip Diesel panels, founder on the line
LightpathLED is a veteran-owned, founder-led brand built by Scott Kennedy, a certified laser and light specialist who opened a New Jersey light-therapy studio after using photobiomodulation for his own neuropathy. The current panel line is Diesel Mini ($374), Tabletop Gen3 ($924), Diesel Gen3 ($1,874), Diesel XL Gen3 ($2,074), and Titan ($5,994). Combo SKUs add 450 nm blue at the same prices as the red/NIR panels.
The thesis is consistent: dual-chip LEDs, a 670 / 810 / 940 nm mix at about 66% NIR, 30-degree lenses, and pulsing you can actually program (10 presets plus 1 to 9,999 Hz on Gen3 and Titan). Kennedy still takes scheduled calls. Warranty is five years on Gen3 and Titan, two years on Diesel Mini. Trial on the Diesel line is 60 days with no restocking fee. The official shipping-return page puts freight both ways on the buyer.
RLT Home
Published density, seven bands, usage plan
RLT Home’s line is RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI, COMPACT, MAX, ULTRA, and ELITE. The brand publishes LED share for seven wavelengths, including 480 nm blue at 6% and 1064 nm at 14%. Nine prebuilt modes were built by filtering the Vladimir Heiskanen photobiomodulation database down to 1,861 successful human trials. After purchase, the science team writes a free personalised weekly usage plan.
Devices stay offline. Spectrometer peaks are published at six inches for every model. Stands ship in the box, motorized electric on RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA and ELITE. Trial: 60 days, no restocking, free insured return shipping. Warranty: three years. Live pages list ≈0.0 μT EMF at 6 inches (Cornet) and flicker as “None”. This page does not invent a 0-inch milligauss figure for RLT Home, because that number is not published.
Spectrum and wavelength density: three bands versus seven
LightpathLED runs one red/NIR mix across Tabletop Gen3, Diesel Gen3, Diesel XL Gen3, Titan, and Diesel Mini: 670 nm red plus 810 nm and 940 nm near infrared, stated as about 66% NIR. Combo panels add 450 nm blue. RLT Home runs seven bands with a published LED share, including 480 nm and 1064 nm. Count is not the story. Density is.
LightpathLED: 670 / 810 / 940, 66% NIR, optional 450 nm
The Diesel mix is a recovery-first bet. 670 nm is a deep red used in many mitochondrial and skin papers. 810 nm is the transcranial and muscle workhorse. 940 nm is a longer NIR band RLT Home does not use (RLT Home uses 850 nm and 1064 nm instead). The brand states 66% NIR. It does not publish a per-band LED percentage table the way RLT Home does, so 66% is a mix claim, not a counted diode map.
What LightpathLED leaves out: 480 nm, 630 nm, 660 nm, 830 nm, 850 nm, and 1064 nm. Combo SKUs add 450 nm blue, which is a different blue from RLT Home’s 480 nm. Buyers who want 660 nm skin red, 850 nm, or 1064 nm in a full-height panel will not find those bands on a Diesel. Buyers who want 940 nm and a 66% NIR tilt will.
RLT Home: seven bands, including blue and 1064
RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI, COMPACT, MAX, and ELITE share 480 nm 6%, 630 nm 19%, 660 nm 19%, 810 nm 19%, 830 nm 14%, 850 nm 9%, 1064 nm 14%. RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA is 480 nm 5%, 630 nm 20%, 660 nm 20%, 810 nm 20%, 830 nm 13%, 850 nm 8%, 1064 nm 14%. LightpathLED omits 480 nm and 1064 nm on the red/NIR Diesels. Combo 450 nm is not 480 nm, and it is not a 1064 nm body panel. Buyers who want blue or 1064 nm in a full-height panel will prefer RLT Home. Buyers who want 940 nm and a high NIR share will prefer LightpathLED.
Edge: Split by goal. LightpathLED wins 940 nm, a stated 66% NIR mix, and Combo 450 nm on the same chassis. RLT Home wins seven-band density, published LED share, 1064 nm, and 480 nm. Density still matters more than wavelength count.
Power and Irradiance: Measured by Independent Third Parties
Solar power meters over-report LED output. Spectrometers are the accurate reference. Peak compares with peak. Average compares with average. A 12-inch brand figure is not a 6-inch figure, and it should not be converted.
These two brands do not publish the same working distance. LightpathLED’s live comparison table lists 76 mW/cm² at 12 inches as the “ideal” figure for Tabletop Gen3, Diesel Gen3, and Diesel XL Gen3. The method is not named. Titan is listed only as “Professional Grade Output”. Diesel Mini lists 94 to 98 mW/cm² at 0 inches and 78 to 82 mW/cm² at 1 inch.
Light Therapy Insiders measured a Diesel / Diesel XL Shortie 2.0 at about 56 mW/cm² average at 6 inches with a spectrometer (nine-point grid). That is a prior Diesel generation, not a published Gen3 6-inch table from the brand. Alex Fergus, using a Hopoo Color OHSP-350F, recorded combined red-plus-NIR figures in the mid-90s mW/cm² on a large LightpathLED multiwave panel, with a nine-spot average around 58.7 mW/cm². Those are independent spectrometer averages on older LightpathLED hardware. They are not Diesel Gen3 factory peaks, and they are not a pair with RLT Home’s six-inch peaks.
RLT Home publishes spectrometer peaks at six inches for every Total Spectrum panel:
| RLT Home device | Spectrometer peak @ 6 inches |
|---|---|
| RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI | 98.7 mW/cm² |
| RLT Home Total Spectrum COMPACT | 99.0 mW/cm² |
| RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX | 100.53 mW/cm² |
| RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA | 119.28 mW/cm² |
| RLT Home Total Spectrum ELITE | 121.62 mW/cm² |
Do not convert LightpathLED’s 12-inch 76 mW/cm² to six inches, or RLT Home’s six-inch peaks to 12 inches. Peaks are not averages. A 56 mW/cm² nine-point average on a Shortie 2.0 is not a pair with RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX at 100.53 mW/cm² peak. RLT Home’s advantage here is line-wide six-inch spectrometer transparency, not a crowned 12-inch Diesel score.
Edge: RLT Home for published six-inch spectrometer peaks across RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI, COMPACT, MAX, ULTRA, and ELITE. LightpathLED for a named 12-inch brand figure plus third-party spectrometer work on prior Diesel hardware. Different distances, mixed peak versus average, and a Gen3 gap in independent 6-inch data.
LED chip design
LightpathLED’s live comparison table labels Tabletop Gen3, Diesel Gen3, Diesel XL Gen3, and Titan as double-chipped. Diesel Mini is 16 bulbs with two diode chips per bulb. A site FAQ still says “high-output triple-chip LEDs”. This review reports both statements and does not pick a chip count the brand has not settled. Dual-chip (or claimed triple-chip) LEDs split each bulb across wavelengths. That can raise apparent LED density per square inch. It is not the same as two independently driven 5W single-chip emitters.
RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI, COMPACT, MAX, ULTRA, and ELITE are single-chip 5W. LightpathLED also markets “most LEDs per square inch” as a brand claim. Diesel Gen3 puts 322 dual-chip bulbs on a 34.1 x 14.6-inch face. RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX puts 360 single-chip 5W LEDs on a 49.2 x 11.8-inch face. Different area, different chip, different job.
Edge: LightpathLED on dual-chip density and a 30-degree focused beam across the Diesel line. RLT Home on consistent single-chip 5W. The FAQ versus comparison-table chip-count conflict stays on the record.
Form factor and coverage
LightpathLED’s in-stock ladder is Mini, Tabletop, Diesel, Diesel XL, then a 72-inch Titan. RLT Home’s ladder is 11.8 inches to 65 inches, with a 30-inch COMPACT rung LightpathLED does not clone. About 64 inches of height is what matters for lie-under use. Titan is taller than RLT Home Total Spectrum ELITE. Diesel Gen3 is much shorter than RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX.
| LightpathLED | Size / LEDs | RLT Home equivalent | Size / LEDs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Diesel Mini $374 | 6.3 x 4.1 in, 16 dual-chip | No handheld | n/a |
| Tabletop Gen3 $924 | 14 x 12 in, 114 dual-chip | RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI | 11.8 x 11.4 in, 72 LEDs |
| No 30-inch panel | n/a | RLT Home Total Spectrum COMPACT | 30.3 x 11.8 in, 216 LEDs |
| Diesel Gen3 $1,874 | 34.1 x 14.6 in, 322 dual-chip | RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX | 49.2 x 11.8 in, 360 LEDs |
| Diesel XL Gen3 $2,074 | 45 x 15 in, 414 dual-chip | RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA | 64.3 x 11.8 in, 480 LEDs |
| Titan $5,994 | 72 x 20 in, 1056 bulbs / 2112 diodes | RLT Home Total Spectrum ELITE | 65 x 20.5 in, 864 LEDs |
Tabletop Gen3 versus RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI is the only close footprint: both are about a foot square, and 114 dual-chip bulbs is still not 72 x 5W. There is no LightpathLED answer to RLT Home Total Spectrum COMPACT at 30.3 inches. Diesel Gen3 is 15 inches shorter and 2.8 inches wider than RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX. Diesel XL is about 19 inches shorter than RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA. Titan is the one LightpathLED panel that is taller than its RLT Home neighbour: 72 inches versus 65 inches, 7 inches of extra height, $1,499 more before TOP10.
Edge: RLT Home for in-stock coverage from 12 inches to 65 inches, including the unmatched 30-inch COMPACT and the 49-inch MAX versus a 34-inch Diesel. LightpathLED for Diesel Mini, a 72-inch Titan, and a wider Diesel face (14.6 to 15 inches versus 11.8 inches on most Total Spectrum panels).
Treatment modes, pulsing, and personalised guidance
This is LightpathLED’s genuine niche. Gen3 panels and Titan offer three light modes (red only, NIR only, red plus NIR), 10 pulsing presets, and manual pulsing from 1 to 9,999 Hz. Diesel Mini pulses at 2.5, 10, and 40 Hz. Combo panels add blue-only and blue-mix modes. Brightness is adjustable. A remote and a memory function store the last session. LightpathLED markets Nogier-style frequency options in its brand materials. This page does not convert those presets into medical claims.
RLT Home Total Spectrum panels include nine prebuilt modes plus custom (Full Power, Skin and Anti-Aging, Pain and Inflammation, Fat Burn and Weight Loss, Mental Health and Brain, Sleep, Acne, Hair Growth, Wound Healing), pulsing 0 to 5,000 Hz, and a free personalised weekly plan written after purchase. LightpathLED wins raw hertz range (9,999 versus 5,000) and pulse-preset count. RLT Home wins named, study-filtered modes plus an automatic plan you do not have to build yourself. Those modes may help people who want a starting protocol instead of a frequency wheel. LightpathLED’s 1-on-1 call with Scott Kennedy is the human version of that plan, not a clone of it.
Edge: LightpathLED on 1 to 9,999 Hz, 10 pulse presets, and founder-built frequency coaching. RLT Home on nine science-built modes plus the automatic personalised weekly plan. Different kinds of guidance.
What’s in the box
Diesel Gen3 and Diesel XL Gen3 currently include a free floor stand ($174 value) as a live promo on 1 September 2026. Titan includes an electric stand that tilts vertical or horizontal. Tabletop Gen3 is a tabletop. Diesel Mini includes goggles, a charging cable, and a manual. Extra LightpathLED hardware is sold separately: floor stand $174, single-panel horizontal stand $264, electrical stand $754. RLT Home includes a stand on every Total Spectrum model, motorized electric on RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA and ELITE. The electric stand add-on for RLT Home Total Spectrum COMPACT and MAX is $495.
RLT Home ships two sets of eyewear plus a free personalised weekly plan. LightpathLED Diesel Mini includes goggles. Eye protection is not published as a standard include on the larger Diesel panels. LightpathLED banners free shipping to the lower 48 US states. RLT Home ships with insured returns on the trial.
Edge: RLT Home on stands across the line as standard, eyewear, and the usage plan. LightpathLED on the current Diesel free-stand promo, Titan’s included electric stand, and Diesel Mini goggles. The Diesel stand is a promo, not a forever SKU promise.
User reviews
Public reviews are a ranking criterion on this page, scored from independent Trustpilot listings rather than manufacturer star widgets. On-site shop ratings are not mixed in, because they are a different dataset.
As of 1 September 2026, RLT Home is 4.6 / 5 from 243 reviews on Trustpilot (www.trustpilot.com/review/redlighttherapyhome.com). LightpathLED has no public Trustpilot business listing for lightpathled.com. RLT Home wins score-plus-sample because there is a sample. LightpathLED’s shop widget is not a substitute. Independent write-ups (Light Therapy Insiders, Outliyr, Alex Fergus) praise build, founder access, and pulsing, and they also flag a fiddly control layout and the gap between advertised and measured irradiance on older Diesels. Those are editorial notes, not a Trustpilot score.
Edge: RLT Home on Trustpilot (4.6 / 243). LightpathLED has no Trustpilot listing to award. Score plus sample size, not vibes, and not the on-site widget.
Trial, returns, and warranty
Both offer 60 days on the panels that matter in this pairing. RLT Home: no restocking fee, free insured return shipping, three-year warranty. LightpathLED Diesel / Combo / iLED: 60 days, no restocking fee, customer pays shipping both ways (including the original inbound freight, per the live shipping-return page). Pro / Budget / Torch lines drop to 30 days with a 20% restocking fee. Warranty is the LightpathLED win: five years on Gen3 and Titan, two years on Diesel Mini, one year on torches, versus three years on every RLT Home Total Spectrum panel.
A LightpathLED marketing page has also said “we cover return shipping” during a sale. The policy page, pulled 1 September 2026, still puts freight on the buyer. This review uses the policy page.
Edge: LightpathLED on warranty length (5 years on Gen3 and Titan). RLT Home on return shipping and a cleaner 60-day, no-restocking, insured-return policy. Even on trial length for Diesel versus Total Spectrum (60 days).
A note on FDA
FDA-registered, on a home panel, is a listing, not clearance, and not a medical-grade performance class. Both brands hold that listing. LightpathLED markets in clinical terms and names Class II registration on product pages. RLT Home is FDA-registered on the same kind of listing. That is paperwork parity, not a claim that either brand treats disease.
Pricing: an apples-to-apples comparison
Prices below are manufacturer selling prices pulled 1 September 2026 from redlighttherapyhome.com/products.json and lightpathled.com/products.json. LightpathLED figures are the live variant prices on that date (no compare-at on the panel SKUs used here). The only discount code used here is TOP10, 6% off RLT Home only, rounded to the nearest dollar. There is no LightpathLED discount code in this article.
TOP10 rounding: $495 × 0.94 = $465.30 → $465. $995 × 0.94 = $935.30 → $935. $1,595 × 0.94 = $1,499.30 → $1,499. $2,595 × 0.94 = $2,439.30 → $2,439. $4,495 × 0.94 = $4,225.30 → $4,225.
Compare equivalent size. Do not pretend a $924 Tabletop Gen3 covers a body like RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX.
Tier 1: Tabletop, LightpathLED Tabletop Gen3 vs RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI
| Item | LightpathLED Tabletop Gen3 | RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI |
|---|---|---|
| LEDs | 114 dual-chip | 72 x 5W single-chip |
| Panel dimensions (H x W) | 14 x 12 x 3 in | 11.8 x 11.4 in |
| Panel price | $924 | $495 (compare-at $695). Code TOP10 drops it to $465 |
| Stand | Tabletop chassis | Stand included |
| Realistic total | $924 | $495, or $465 with code TOP10 |
RLT Home wins the entry sticker. Tabletop Gen3 is $924 versus $495 for RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI ($465 with TOP10). Diesel Mini at $374 is the cheaper LightpathLED face-and-joint tool, and it is a 6.3-inch handheld, not a 12-inch panel. Same tabletop class is not the same LED class or six-inch output.
Tier 2: Handheld LightpathLED sells and RLT Home does not
Diesel Mini is $374 (6.3 x 4.1 in, 16 dual-chip bulbs, 670 / 810 / 940 nm, 2.5 / 10 / 40 Hz, 94 to 98 mW/cm² at 0 inches, two-year warranty, goggles in the box). RLT Home has no handheld. This tier is a LightpathLED win on shape, not a reason to skip RLT Home Total Spectrum COMPACT if you wanted a 30-inch panel.
Tier 3: Mid panel, no LightpathLED clone vs RLT Home Total Spectrum COMPACT
There is no LightpathLED 30-inch panel. RLT Home Total Spectrum COMPACT is 30.3 x 11.8 inches, 216 LEDs, spectrometer peak 99.0 mW/cm² at 6 inches, stand included, $995 (compare-at $1,295) or $935 with TOP10. Stacking two Tabletop Gen3 panels is not the same product, and this review will not price it as one.
Tier 4: Mid-tall, LightpathLED Diesel Gen3 vs RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX
| Item | LightpathLED Diesel Gen3 | RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX |
|---|---|---|
| LEDs | 322 dual-chip | 360 single-chip 5W |
| Panel dimensions (H x W) | 34.1 x 14.6 x 3.1 in | 49.2 x 11.8 in |
| Panel price | $1,874 | $1,595 (compare-at $1,995). Code TOP10 drops it to $1,499 |
| Stand | Free floor stand ($174) included as a current promo | Stand included. Electric stand is a $495 add-on for COMPACT and MAX |
| Realistic total | $1,874 | $1,595, or $1,499 with code TOP10 |
| In stock 1 Sep 2026 | Yes | Yes |
Diesel Gen3 costs $279 more than RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX before TOP10, and $375 more after TOP10, for a panel 15 inches shorter and 2.8 inches wider. You pay for pulsing, dual-chip density, 940 nm, and a 5-year warranty, not for height. The free floor stand closes the accessory gap on this SKU today. It does not make 34 inches equal 49 inches.
Tier 5: Full-body, LightpathLED Diesel XL / Titan vs RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA / ELITE
| Item | LightpathLED Diesel XL Gen3 | LightpathLED Titan | RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA | RLT Home Total Spectrum ELITE |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LEDs | 414 dual-chip | 1056 bulbs / 2112 diodes | 480 | 864 |
| Panel dimensions (H x W) | 45 x 15 x 3 in | 72 x 20 x 3 in | 64.3 x 11.8 in | 65 x 20.5 in |
| Panel price | $2,074 | $5,994 | $2,595 (compare-at $2,995). TOP10 $2,439 | $4,495 (compare-at $4,995). TOP10 $4,225 |
| Stand | Free floor stand promo | Electric stand included | Motorized electric included | Motorized electric included |
| Realistic total | $2,074 | $5,994 | $2,595, or $2,439 with TOP10 | $4,495, or $4,225 with TOP10 |
Diesel XL Gen3 undercuts RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA by $521 before TOP10 ($365 after TOP10) and is 19 inches shorter. That is a price win on a smaller panel, not a 64-inch clone. Titan is the LightpathLED flagship: 7 inches taller than RLT Home Total Spectrum ELITE, similar width (20 versus 20.5 inches), 1056 dual-chip bulbs versus 864 single-chip LEDs, and $1,499 more before TOP10 ($1,769 more after TOP10). Buyers who want a 72-inch pulsed Diesel wall will pay that gap. Buyers who want 65 inches, seven bands, and a motorized stand for $4,225 will not.

The verdict: winner and runner up
RLT Home takes the overall win for most buyers. LightpathLED earns a credible runner-up spot where its philosophy fits: pulsed dual-chip Diesel panels versus seven-band full-body panels, not a size-clone fight.
🏆 Winner
RLT Home, for most buyers
For buyers who want a published seven-band mix (including 480 nm and 1064 nm), spectrometer peaks at six inches across RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI, COMPACT, MAX, ULTRA, and ELITE, nine science-built modes, a free personalised weekly plan, free insured returns, a three-year warranty, and in-stock full-body panels with stands, RLT Home is the stronger overall choice.
TOP10 drops RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI to $465, COMPACT to $935, MAX to $1,499, ULTRA to $2,439, and ELITE to $4,225. That puts MINI $459 under Tabletop Gen3 and MAX $375 under Diesel Gen3. The 30-inch COMPACT rung is one LightpathLED is not stocking on 1 September 2026.
🥈 Runner up
LightpathLED, for pulsed dual-chip 670 / 810 / 940 nm Diesel use
For buyers who want 1 to 9,999 Hz pulsing, a 66% NIR mix of 670, 810, and 940 nm, dual-chip Diesel density, a 5-year Gen3 warranty, and a scheduled call with founder Scott Kennedy, LightpathLED is the better fit. Diesel Mini at $374 is a handheld RLT Home does not make. Titan at $5,994 is a 72-inch pulsed wall RLT Home Total Spectrum ELITE does not clone. That runner-up is a specialist win on pulsing, 940 nm, warranty length, and founder support, not a full-body consolation. Diesel Gen3 at $1,874 is still 15 inches shorter than RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX.
Both offer 60-day trials on the Diesel and Total Spectrum lines. LightpathLED’s Gen3 warranty is five years. RLT Home’s is three. The right choice is which job you are buying for, and whether you need a 49-inch or 64-inch panel more than a frequency wheel.
Frequently asked questions
Who has better user reviews, LightpathLED or RLT Home?
On independent Trustpilot listings checked 1 September 2026, RLT Home is 4.6 / 5 from 243 reviews. LightpathLED has no public Trustpilot business listing for lightpathled.com. RLT Home wins this row on score plus sample size. This page uses Trustpilot, not on-site shop stars, for the comparison.
Does LightpathLED really output more power than RLT Home?
Not on the numbers each brand actually publishes at the same distance. LightpathLED lists 76 mW/cm² at 12 inches (method not named) for Tabletop Gen3, Diesel Gen3, and Diesel XL Gen3. Light Therapy Insiders recorded about 56 mW/cm² at 6 inches on a prior Diesel / Diesel XL Shortie 2.0. RLT Home publishes spectrometer peaks at 6 inches from 98.7 to 121.62 mW/cm². Those are different distances and mixed peak versus average. This review does not convert 12 inches into 6 inches.
Can I use a LightpathLED Diesel Gen3 instead of RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX?
Only if you wanted a shorter, wider, pulsed panel, not the same coverage. Diesel Gen3 is 34.1 x 14.6 inches and 322 dual-chip LEDs at $1,874. RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX is 49.2 x 11.8 inches and 360 LEDs at $1,595 ($1,499 with TOP10). They do not cover the same body height.
Is TOP10 a LightpathLED coupon?
No. TOP10 is 6% off current RLT Home live prices only, rounded to the nearest dollar. This article does not invent a LightpathLED discount code. LightpathLED prices are the live manufacturer prices on lightpathled.com.
Who wins on warranty?
LightpathLED, on Gen3 and Titan: five years versus three years on RLT Home Total Spectrum. Diesel Mini is two years. Torches are one year. Read the SKU, not the homepage badge.
Conclusion
LightpathLED and RLT Home are solving different jobs. LightpathLED wins 1 to 9,999 Hz pulsing, a 670 / 810 / 940 nm mix at about 66% NIR, dual-chip Diesel density, a 5-year Gen3 warranty, founder access, Diesel Mini, and a 72-inch Titan. RLT Home wins seven-band density including 480 nm and 1064 nm, six-inch spectrometer peaks, nine modes plus a personalised plan, in-stock 30-inch through 65-inch panels, cheaper equivalent-size stickers, a public Trustpilot listing, and free insured returns. With TOP10, RLT Home Total Spectrum MINI is $465, RLT Home Total Spectrum COMPACT $935, RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX $1,499, RLT Home Total Spectrum ULTRA $2,439, and RLT Home Total Spectrum ELITE $4,225. The data favors RLT Home for most buyers, with LightpathLED the runner-up for pulsed dual-chip 670 / 810 / 940 nm Diesel use. A $1,874 Diesel Gen3 still does not cover a body like RLT Home Total Spectrum MAX.
