How We Earn Revenue

Red Light Therapy Top 10 is an independently operated review and comparison website. We earn revenue through affiliate partnerships with some of the brands featured on our site. When you click on certain links and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small referral commission.

This commission comes from the retailer — you never pay more by using our links. The price you see is the same whether you arrive at the brand's website through our link or directly.

What This Means for Our Reviews

Our editorial integrity is the foundation of this website. We want to be completely transparent about how affiliate relationships work and do not work on our site:

• Rankings are never influenced by commissions. Our scoring methodology evaluates 18 brands across 14 objective criteria. A brand paying a higher commission rate does not receive a higher score.
• Brands cannot pay for placement. No brand can purchase a higher ranking, a featured position, or more favorable language in our reviews.
• We feature brands we don't earn from. Some brands in our comparison table do not have affiliate programs. We include them because our goal is to provide a comprehensive, honest comparison — not to promote only paying partners.
• Negative reviews are published. If a brand scores poorly in our evaluation, we publish that score and explain why — even if we have an affiliate relationship with them.
• Scores are based on data, not opinion. Our methodology combines manufacturer specifications, third-party spectrometer readings, and 200+ hours of customer feedback analysis from Reddit, Trustpilot, and Facebook groups.
• Content is medically reviewed. Our medical expert team reviews all health-related claims and product assessments to ensure accuracy and responsible reporting.

How Our Scoring Works

Every brand is scored out of 140 points across 14 categories including wavelengths, irradiance, EMF safety, customer support, hidden fees, return policies, trial periods, warranty, build quality, third-party reviews, and delivery. Each category is scored out of 10 by our review team.

Types of Affiliate Relationships

We may participate in the following types of affiliate programs:

• Direct affiliate programs: Some brands offer their own referral programs. When you use our unique link or discount code, we earn a commission on qualifying purchases.
